Please tell me that there are going to be Forerunners in the new Halo. Because I looked at some videos on youtube and the forerunners didn’t have much of a chance against the flood. Can it be where the forerunner’s team up with chief and defeat the flood? Just thinking here. Lol probably not thinking clearly.
The forerunner will probably be in the new halo. Also the flood bet the forerunner because 100,000 years ago the human fought against the forerunners, the forerunners won but were too weak to defeat the flood so they had no choice but to make the halo rings
I’d say there is a strong chance of the friendly Forerunners coming into the picture. Though given how guilty they feel about the Halos and how they seem pretty dead-set on humanity taking their former duties, I wonder if they would get involved in our fight?

There probably would be friendly forerunner machines since the forerunner’s tech is their gift to help us 
I am pretty sure we will see more Forerunners in Halo 5, we have already seen 2 Forerunners in Halo 4, the Ur-Didact and The Librarian, so I expect to see more from the Forerunners in upcoming Halo games, I also expect to see friendly Forerunners, that would just be so epic!

He stayed behind on Omega Halo to clear a path through the Star Roads for the IsoDidact.
Then Omega Halo and the Greater Ark got utterly shredded. Faber is dead, but he did go out with a bang.
He seemed to understand what his past crimes truly meant, and was prepared to end it. He wouldn’t be that motivated to try to survive.

If you’ve been keeping up with some Halo 5 theories (try to find The Ark Theory in the Universe section), then it seems like Mendicant will certainly be playing a role in the future.

I know a lot of people have been saying that he will be in the new halo and I hope he will too, also it would be cool if offensive bias was it too trying to hunt down chief and MB

Agreed, I have been reading up about this theory as well, I can see Mendicant Bias making some sort of role in the next big Halo game, he has been around since the Halo 3 terminals talking about looking over Master Chief and protecting him in some way, he will definitely be in Halo 5.
That is probably who Master Chief is looking for in the Halo 5 Teaser Trailer, hence why the Chief did not seem shocked to see a massive bird like Forerunner robot coming from beneath the ground, I am not saying that bird thing is Mendicant Bias, but anything can happen! It is Halo after all, and Halo is always full of surprises!
I’m sure we’ll see more Forerunners in the future. Whether they’ll be alive (Ur-Didact) or composed (Librarian) is what I’ve been debating.

Last time I checked OB was obedient to the Iso-Didact and the surviving Forerunners and they wanted Humanity to inherit the Mantle so I doubt he would be attempting to “hunt” Chief. But what would he do with MB is definitely up for debate.

Agreed, I think they would get involved in our fight.
As for Forerunners in the next Halo, I’d say there is a very high possibility. The Halo Xbox One teaser even showed what was a Forerunner construct. You can’t just talk about Forerunners in the books, show them in the teaser, feature them in Halo 4, Terminals and other parts of the story and just leave them completely out like that.
