Ok so let’s see how this goes: Forerunners (without the Array) vs Asurans (Ancients from Stargate.)
Who would win in an all out war?
These thread honestly don’t need to be made do the Extreme bias we know is going to show up not to mention i am positive a large amount of this community doesn’t even know Stargate. You didn’t even bother to set rules of engagements or set up a scenario.
This and every other Vs idea was talked about on bungie years ago. We concluded that the Ancients technology is far too inconsistent to be used. There are some instances where you can clearly set the plot for the episode was just made up to get ratings.
But if we were to put that aside it would go to the Forerunners. The Have A population Exceeding Trillions And Extremely Advanced technology. The Main Flaws of the Ancients (Which if you knew you wouldn’t have made this) is that they have an extremely low population and that they aren’t a fighting race they are scientists. Hence why they had problems fighting the Ori,Replicators and Wraith all of which were lesser races to them (Ori was the most equal). They didn’t even have a significant Navy where we know the Forerunners can number in the millions.
Now if we were talking about the ascended Ancients then they would clearly win since the forerunners wouldn’t have a way to fight them. Though that wouldn’t happen sense there would be no reason for them to fight the forerunners and they don’t interfere. But even if an extremely Small Rebel faction did the most they would do is destroy a few thousand ships in a critical battle they wouldn’t be able to completly wipe out the race or do a devastating blow or anything.
