According to the next issue of Xbox Magazine, Master Chief will be faceing a forerunner army but this army is under some kind of leadership. If Forerunners were to make an appearance, what would you expect to see or what would you like to see and do you think that this forerruner army is under the Didact’s controll or its somebody totally irrelevant.
EDIT: When looking st the cover again it said “You and whose Forerunnner Army”, so i am supposing that Master Chief will be fighting the “Creator of the Halo Array” with allied members of a Forerunner faction of some sort and possibly with the didact and the librarian. My speculation on the new threat is probably the Master Builder Faber, the most powerful builder of the Forerunners. Faber as read of in the books is a cold and very grim Forerunner whose fate may tie in with the game. The Covenant may also play a minimal role as they are the least of our problems. Post some of your likes and theories about the situation.
That game will end pretty damn quickly if it’s Forerunners. Frankly the idea of Forerunner enemies doesn’t make all that much sense in the grand scheme of things.

We are going to need to make some friends fast, i would say some elites, hunters, and rogue forerunners should do the trick. It would be cool having a squad type mission with some hunters at your side.

Does anyone have a link to a picture or something of those pages confirming the Forerunners? I’m in Australia, so the info in the magazine here is an issue behind.
The real reason Gravemind won was because he acquired their own technology and got inside help from Mendicant Bias, and used it against them.
Funny how:
Covies are vulnerable to their own weapons (at least in CE).
Sentinels are vulnerable to their own weapons (H2 and H3).
Master Chief is vulnerable to human weapons (this is noticeable with Tilt on).
Forerunners will unmistakably follow the same pattern so provided we sneak up on some or find their corpses or arsenals or have Flood to distract them, it will be a walk in the park (hopefully like in CE). I want to be a badass (H2 Master Chief) invincible (CE Master Chief) again, not a pathetically weak (H3 Master Chief, Noble Six) yet over-exaggerated in cutscenes human figure (Noble Six).
If I wanted overwhelming challenge, I would have turned on skulls or limited myself. Or asked for a specific difficulty setting, which I did. Legendary does not need to be excruciatingly difficult where even one mistake costs you your life. That deviates greatly from CE’s Legendary.
Master Builder is my best bet. Didn’t really clear it up if he lived or died.
But if we are fighting Forerunners I highly doubt it that they’ll be under single leadership. I have a funny feeling the Precursor’s or a specific Precursor will be controlling them.
