With the Zeta Halo ring appearing in the upcoming Halo Infinite, are we going to see Forerunners coming back in the new Halo video game?
I definitely feel we’ll be getting some more Forerunner history in the next game. As to whether we’ll see one, maybe in a flashback or something like the Terminals. I doubt we’ll see one in the flesh, but you never know.
Unlikely. The only ones I could see returning are the Didact (apparently within the Domain or contained somewhere) or Librarian AI (whereabouts unknown). But they’ll probably be wrapped up with whatever Bastion is as teased by the Builder intel in Halo 5.
Maybe we might see Floodified Forerunners like Regret was Halo 2 if the Flood presence on Zeta grows large enough.
Can’t see the Forerunners returning. But since Installation 07 has ALOT of history regarding the flood, and Precursors (particularly the Primordial), I wouldn’t mind a good reference to them, maybe some terminals featuring the history, if they bring those back. Hope the Palace of Pain will be seen or at least mentioned.
I would enjoy interacting and fighting with/against real live forerunners but I’m not convinced it’s likely at this point.
