I was very surprised that the Forerunners are the bad guys, but now I’m pumped up.
We don’t know that, we could be fighting a small faction of rampant Forerunners.
They weren’t Forerunners they were ai like the sentinels…
Maybe it has something to do with the composer? Maybe they are forerunners within mechanical bodies?
I still think it’ll end up being Precursors, but maybe I’m just stubborn.

yes but at the end is show the didacts symbol along with the “an ancient evil awakens” at the end so we know we are gonna confront the didact as we all know he is a forerunner but not to sure if its gonna be confronting the forerunner species itself of just him and his army.

Anyhow it seems to be pointing towards Forerunner, but changed somewhat in the intervening hundred thousand years.
With the whole glowy skull thing I think our “Knights” are similar to the Didact’s Sphinxes, carrying the recordings of the dying moments of Forerunners.

Guys the main bad guy is the didact. if you look at its symbol and then look at the part in the trailer where it says and ancient evil has awaken the symbols are almost exactly the same exept for the opening in the middle of the hexagon and that it is rotating
