This is a weapon I drew on a piece of paper, I don’t have a tablet or anything like that, so I just scanned it.
This is something like it. It’s not final or anything. I just what you to see what I think it should kind of look like.

I imagine Forerunner weapons will be slightly angular yet simplistically designed.

That will be awesome to fire! It looks like the Forerruner’s AR or the Forerruner’s Carbine/BR.
It looks like a Forerunner sniper mixed with a space Ferrari.
AWESOME!
It also looks like a turret.
Think of the back-end being spread apart to where it looks like wings.
And then put a floaty-device like a mini grav-lift to hold the weapon.

But I can’t imagine 343 not adding forerunner weaponry to Halo: 4

Nice. Very similar to how I imagined it: lots of angles and a very distinct, polygonal (if that’s a word) design.
