Does anyone play or have played BlackLight Retribution? There is a vision mode where you can see all players around the map. That’s what I’m hoping Forerunner Vision is similar to. In BLR everyone has it, in Halo 4 only some people will have it which is why it obviously wouldn’t be as awesome as it is in BLR but it would still be great and probably one of the more MLG AA’s.
It will hopefully be no where near as game-breaking as AL.

You can have Sprint and FV, FYI. Sprint is not an AA. Everyone has it.

You’ll be able to hear the person to use it. Unless you got music going on, you shouldn’t be surprised by it.
On topic: If all we are getting is 3 armor abilities in a majority of the games, I can see it being overused. Often times in TS, I picked Sprint mainly because I can get around faster. Now with sprint being something I will already get, I can see Promethean Vision being a good choice.
We’ll need more info about any armor abilities that could be available to us or any abilities that have yet to be revealed. But if the maps make them a bit ineffective, I could see Team Slayer being filled with people having Bat-Vision.

From the way Promethean vision works so far, it will be quite underused because of nerfs it has to make it hard for noobs to use it effectively.

Messes up your HUD
Gives your position away every time you use it
You have to pulse it like a Sonar.\
Can be tricked by holograms and active camo
All for seeing through walls 
Nope, situational awareness is superior. You don’t this AA if you got good callouts and are aware the threats on the map.
I said yes, but reading from what an MLG player said about it: basically saying there’s so many negatives to one little positive it’s really pointless/useless.
This seems like it should be more of a pickup (like camo or overshield) than something you can spawn with. You’re going to have everyone running around with what are essentially wall hacks.

Wall hacks imply the ability to not only see through walls, but be able to shoot through them as well. In addition, the downsides to Pro-Vision heavily counter balance the upsides to it. Last i checked, wall hacks do not mess up your HUD, they don’t give away your position, they are not limited to a few seconds, they do not pulse like sonar, among-st other things. You fail to see the point of it tbh
I don’t think I will be using it much, its basically the same function as the radar. I will be using camouflage to mess with my opponents radar.
As for armor abilities included in the game, I think bubble shield, sprint, evade, and hologram should be the ones remaining.

Bubble shield isn’t returning. Evade is most likely not coming back either.
So far it’s just holos, Jetpack, Promethean Vision and Active Camo.
Possibly. Depends on what other options there are for your Second Armor Abilities.
If Forerunner Vision is the best you can expect it to be the most used.
