Wouldn’t it be cool if there were terminals in Halo 4, 5 or 6 that had a playable cutscene telling a story during the forerunner-flood war, like say you go to the terminal it does all it wierd forerunner letters and stuff then you wake up as a forerunner with their weapons and in froerunner battle armor. Then like a flood meteor or something hits there area (excuse any canon disputes) and the forerunners begin to battle. Or something differant, but i would love to play as a character 100,000+ years ago.
cool idea but the forerunners don’t work that way, they mostly fought the flood using machines; besides forerunner weapons are immensely powerful a handgun could destroy several small buildings. How could it work?
I think the Reclaimer Trilogy would be the most appropriate time to have Terminals out of all the Halo games. There’s no better time.
Well I have not read Cryptum or Primordium? yet, I just ordered the, but like what was in halo legends with their energy sword like shooter or (I read this on Halopedia) when I think it was the didact was harboring a forerunner frigate arount the san 'shyuum world or somthing like that maybe
It makes sense actually. They seem like forerunner creations plus the forerunners are the type to dcument almost everything and especially how they tried to contained the flood. This would definetly help tell pieces of the story that 343i could not put in the cutscenes. Like something that happened between humans and forerunners which is ever so interesting to me

That may be true but most people who want to know about that stuff get the books and the other 97% of the Halo “fanbase” as in play halo, wouldnt even know what they mean.
