Why was the Forerunner Icon changed in Halo: CEA?

I’m not quite sure. It could be just a decision on Sabre Interactive’s part that 343i didn’t care too much about. I wouldn’t think about it too much.

they were not so much replace but more were added because it described some of the leaders and enemies in forerunner culture
