Notice it theres a greenish pattern on it like in halo legends. So it COULD be their homeworld idk though. DISCUSS THIS FIND!

The Forerunner Home world was called Ghibald (spelling), after slip space accidents, it was heavily irridated and rendered uninhabitable early in Forerunner history.

FIRST of all holy -Yoink- i didnt see that and second of all what is with out a doubt a forerunner-based world in the back grounds weither it is the home world or not is completely up to 343i but i am alil worried about (concord planet) and world hoping in halo 4 cuz i think requiem will be plenty exploration for halo 4 we dont need halo famous world hopings coming into play again just yet!!

Just because 343 stated that Longbow takes place on a planet named Concord doesn’t mean that it’ll take any exploration or mystery away from Requiem…
I think that is Requiem. At the planet’s southern pole you can see cybernetic spiderweb like cracks. This looks a lot like Requiem’s opening.
Longbow probably takes place on a satellite planet to Requiem.
One thing you have to take into consideration here is that all the Multiplayer maps are just computer simulations created on the Infinity’s combat deck. It’s obviously creating a simulation of a real Human planet but that would mean that the moon in the sky is already known to the UNSC. In fact that station was there pre-Covenant war so if those are Forerunner markings then the UNSC would have definitely been aware of it for a very long time.
I wonder if we will ever visit the forerunner home planet in the reclaimer trilogy…?
Gihbalb is the forerunner home world.
Why would we go there out of their other 3 million planets?
Why would we go to an inhospitable planet that was heavily radiated when the forerunners performed a stellar engineering experiment which caused things to go supernova and almost killed them off? I doubt that Ghibalb holds any secrets that we could use.
343 already said that it was a Human world… I think in one of the weekly updates.

I think it may be Kholo, the planet that was glassed; a Forerunner Glyph was drawn.
Perhaps they are in the same system?
