In the trailer for Episode 5, Halsey says that there is a Forerunner AI. Now who could this be? Mendicant Bias, Offensive Bias, Chakas, somebody else?
When she says “its full of human memories” I thought it would be more than one.

Chakas aka 343 Guilty Spark could be it. At the end of Silentium he was on the way to the Librarians location. At the end of Episode 4 Glassman stated that there could be a Forerunner in that device.
This is all speculation.
Maybe it will be Cortana’s future replacement, Cortana was really annoying in Halo 4 anyways. I’m glad that she short-circuited or whatever. She was like an over-demanding girlfriend that forgot it was a computer program.

Could be the people who were composed in New Pheonix. Or most likely my guess is that its going to be memeories of ancient Humans

Maybe cortana due to the fact the forerunner sends all kinds of signals all the time, her AI would send off a forerunner signal after fusing with the forerunner technology, is most likely sent via wireless as a last resort just like how didact has survived in the past before the events of halo 4. (Not a spoiler for the didact since his current fate is unknown)

Oh that could be too, to be honest i dont think that she is dead. Far too important character and after all the forerunner tech she has plugged into there is bound to be some wayshe survived

True, if anything she willcome back in Halo 5. And as far as Chakas being the AI, shouldnt he still be in 343 Guilty Spark? Also the glimpse they showed looked a lot like a mechanical brain or was i the only one who thought that? Though i will admit it does sound sorda like Chakas

Do the Forerunner even have artificial intelligences anymore? 343 seemed to have retconned the whole mythology so that every so-called “artificial” intelligence is actually an organic being crammed into a metallic container. It’s one of the worst changes they made.

343 guilty spark is just a fragment of chakas. There are many others like him.

Saying promotheans are humans is the same as saying ALL forerunner AI is organic? That makes no sense, 343 hasn’t retconned anything (in that regard).
