Forerunner AA Speculation

The confirmed AA’s for Halo 4 are:
Sprint (default), Jet Pack, Hologram, Active Camo, and Forerunner Vision.

I have an idea for another new AA: Teleport.

How it works:
You can teleport to a teammate’s position if they call for assistance. Once you activate it you are immobilized for 1.5 seconds and there is no going back unless you get shot. If you get shot while trying to teleport the attempt is aborted.

Pros:
Support teammates when they need it most.
Easily flank your enemy. (This is how I see MLG players primarily using it)

Cons:
Short delay after it is activated and you are immobilized.
Heavily relies on teamplay.
It cannot be used to escape a sticky situation (sprint/AL).
Cannot be deactivated by the user.

If you think about it this could actually appear in Halo 4 as it has been in Halo since CE; we just haven’t been able to use it. Remember the campaign mission ‘Keyes’; Cortana figured out how to use the monitor’s teleport ability, except she kinda screwed up and the Chief landed on his head.

I still think Forerunner vision has to do with the motion sensor.

Yeah me too. I think you will be able to see anyone (on radar) in the immediate viscinity regardless of whether or not they are moving.

I reeaaalllly hope there’s no teleportation, it would slow down gameplay like hell.

The Forerunner Vision is more of an x-ray than a teleporter. It locates enemies through walls in a short vicinity. That has been said. In detail exactly what it does has not been explained.

There’s flaws in that. If a person on the team spawns or gets behind the enemy, the rest of the team can easily teleport next to him and take the enemy team out and destroy map control.

If the spawns aren’t set up right this could be a problem.

“Forerunner Vision” will probably be like the Geth Hunter Mode in ME3 MP. You can only see enemies through walls and smoke up to a certain distance.

Please explain how it will slow down gameplay.

The way I have explained it is that if you get shot you cannot teleport. This was the main complaint about sprint (aside from herp-derp).

Would it be safe to assume that vision, replaces armor lock or drop shield, that would leave one slot open. Do you think the void will be filled or just go woth the confirmed?

Cool idea but it would be unfair because if I catch an enemy alone then his friends could easily just tele to him and finish me (how the hell I should have know his friends got tele?).
