Today, every single weekly challenge I have is tied to the LSS event. I am completely unable to gain any XP beyond 50 per game, because I’m playing king of the hill, or fiesta, or swat.
I used 3 challenge swaps and only got different challenges tied to LSS. What a waste! I don’t want to play LSS. I have ZERO interest in playing a game mode with limited lives and quitting out to start another game, simply because I died 5 times.
I can’t even play Big team slayer. I would love to play big team fiesta with vehicles on different maps than the 4v4 arena maps, but get NOTHING but objective game BS one after the other. 3 capture the flag games in a row, or strongholds followed by some power seed BS.
I will not participate in objective games, simply because I’m forced to play them in hopes I get a slayer match at some point. I’m not going to play an event I have no interest in simply because you removed all challenges that are not tied to the event.
I just drive around in a warthog in a big team objective game, so my friend can shoot enemies like I’m in a slayer game. I don’t participate in the objective. I don’t grab power seeds, I don’t even look at the power seed icons. I ignore them completely.
I don’t look at the location of my flag, pay attention if it is taken, or if my team has the enemy flag. I couldn’t care less about objectives. AT ALL. I ignore the fact I’m even in an objective game and just play slayer by myself, or drive my friend around to get kills. Because it’s the only way to get a slayer game in on a big team map when I only have an hour or so to play.
Forcing my to play objective games won’t make me participate. It does nothing but add a body to the game, it certainly doesn’t mean I’m going to help my team with the objective. I have no choice but to suffer through 15 minute games, up to and often over 45 minutes of BS I have zero interest in, just to play a slayer game with vehicles on a big team map.
I want to play 2+ hours of fiesta slayer, big team stayer, or fiesta, swat, king of the hill. Slayer type games. But I quit out of big team matches all the time, because of the stupid objectives. I play for maybe 15-30 minutes sometimes and just quit to watch TV, or do something else.
I’m trying so hard to like this game, but forcing me to play stuff I don’t want to play is not going to keep me online, or encourage me to spend money on the store. Why would I pay any money at all for vehicle skins, when I can’t even play big team slayer? You think I’m going to buy skins for vehicles to play game types I hate?
I would love to buy cool vehicle skins IF I COULD PLAY THE GAME TYPE I WANT TO SPEND TIME ON.
