Oh I totally hear what your saying. One ofm y friends is an mnk player and uninstalled after a month. Hasn’t downloaded since because of the state this game was in to mnk.
But that’s a seperate issue from a toggled crossplay option.
This game shouldn’t have been released in the state it was in, period. And I doubt mnk will get fixed for years to come, because that’s literally how far behind they are in proper game development.
the game is compleet broken.
the reason the population is low is thanks to the lack of contant, lack of playlist’s and then i have not count the big system problems it has there not fix.
mix all that and you get a low poplation.
that there not fix the problems in the first place and make only new one’s.
from all the halo multiplayers is halo inifnint the worst one.
MCC has a better multiplayer at launch at that was also broken but not so broken as in halo infinite
and then i have not talk about the big cheating problem there have creat more thanks to F2P formule.
edit: like i told before its been suggest in the developing time from the game all to make crossplay not force but a option like in MCC so it has notting to do at all with the population is now to low no its been suggest all for a year or longer to not do it and there have done it.
and after launch off the game how manny cheaters threads have not been make that thanks to force crossplay that the console communety most play with the PC cheating communety (not all the pc players use cheats but a lot off then do)
That’s because a pc is more powerful and will always be the superior device to run anything.
None said Console has the advantage. What i said was that controller on pc has the advantage.
And that’s exactly how I play. I love it and aside from the first few months of game crashes the game has ran super smooth and I love the set up.
I thought they played on PC because of how hard the Series X was to obtain back then.
Is Right. Before they should find a solution for incrase the population and then add Optional Matchmaking input.
Now there are very few Players in this game. This is big problem
I believe crossplay is a different issue from input method. There are plenty of controller users on PC and some M&K on console. PC players with high end PCs are typically at an advantage over console players.
What is this insane aim assist M&K players keep claiming controller players have? Infinite has the least aim assist of all Halo games.
the solution is easy to incrase the population in halo infinite.
the solution is this: fix the problems is good, add more playlist’s and not remove then make some permanete one’s more the favoriete’s from the halo serie’s.
and make a good road map and follow it also and not make some false promise.
and make sure it has a good content flow with more then 2 maps each time.
Now if they increased the playlists there would be a low people in each one; And it would increase the waiting time to find a match.
increased the playlist is something there only can do after there have fix the problems this game has.
after the problems have been fix then there can focus on adding more playlist’s and maps since adding new content now is only making it worse and worse and its not helping when there is a long list off problems this game has and need to be deal with first.
PC players tend to hate any aim assist.
true but in this case it is justified
and the console players hate the cheaters on the pc side.
so its better that crossplay become’s a option between platforms fast and also a input options so that players can choose to play against mouse and keybord or controler only or both.
Yeah because it’s very relevant to mention that console players hate cheaters… I’m on PC so you imagine that I don’t give a f*ck playing against cheaters, don’t you? ![]()
Cheaters suck on any platform, but in all my time with PC I haven’t encountered many. So cheaters to me isn’t even a PC problem, its a Halo Infinite problem.
When MCC launched on PC it quickly became apparent that aim assist was wildly overtuned, so most resorted to plugging in controllers like the rats they are. It took a year for 343 to add an option to disable cross-input, but by this point most KB/M players had already left. To make matters worse, not only was cross-input ENABLED by default but crossplay was also introduced at the same time and also enabled, further muddying the waters. There is absolutely no hope for input matchmaking to work with the game set up like this, so what’s the point? People largely stick to default settings and don’t dig into options to figure out why they’re getting domed 24/7 by 0 skill players with built-in aimbot - they just attribute it to not being good and quit playing.
Then Halo: Infinite comes around. Now input-based matchmaking is in from the start but ONLY as an obscure solo/duo option in ranked play. For starters, most people don’t play ranked much, and most definitely don’t dig around poorly highlighted and arbitrary options like that. I mean honestly, look at those drop down menus in ranked, how many even know you can click on them as options? This one sub-option is the only bastion of PC players getting fair matches and it’s hopeless (and currently disabled atm anyway). 343 either learned nothing, or they wanted to alienate the entire PC playerbase, and set up input-MM to fail intentionally.
but you have no choose at all.
so if you not care about then is something all PC players have in the first case same if there hate then there have to deal with it.
if it was pay to play like in the other halo titels then the damage for the PC players that wane play fair was more better but now its more you have to accept and deal with same if you hate then.
its not a halo infinite problem its a PC problem in general more.
its the same that cod has PC cheaters in there game’s so its more a general problem with all the game’s that have the same problem with cheaters.
the only diffrend between cod and halo is that cod has pay to play for the multiplayer and not F2P what halo infinite has so activision can bann there compleet game if there using cheats and in halo infinite there cant since its F2P so there can make easy new accounts and start with cheating again.
so 2 worst combo in halo infinite we have is F2P formule for the multiplayer + force crossplay = cheating problem.
please don’t -Yoink!- all of us pc players as cheaters, unfortunately you have aim assist on console along with strike packs and extreme modded controllers with zero recoil, rapid fire and scripting, cheating goes both ways, always has and always will.
