However, some points (like default Crossplay and limited playlists) are better ensconced by the Beta title due to ease of access and performance testing. It’s much easier to determine potential issues with a game when everyone is lumped in together, than if they were broken up in smaller demographics.
This is an assumption being made, no where has 343 said things like Crossplay and locked down playlists are for the beta for the purposes of data collection. While yes, this is a logical thing to do, it’s not when we’re being told this is Day 1 Launch content experience.
If they are actually planning on changing things like forced cross-play and locked playlists, they should probably get to addressing that publicly to quell the fires. Seeing as there hasn’t been a peep out of them today, I’m not sure this is the case.
We’ll see on the 8th (or potentially sooner if they do a blog post or something substantial) if your assumption is correct.
Should learn how to use the claw method when you hold the controller, you have no limitations then when it comes to sliding and aiming whilst jumping lol
I have hand troubles, it’s why I cant actually game on pc. While I have better aim on it gripping the small mouse and tensing for certain keys hurts my hands especially on long sessions which is why I went console, it’s also cheaper lol. 2 for 1 XD
There is literally no hacking on xbox because the xbox software has not been hacked yet. There are people using XIM’s and what not, but wall hacks and aimbotting outright doesn’t exist on console.
To answer your question, I’ve run into several cheaters in the past few days in ranked. They have become more prevalent the higher rank I’ve gotten. Without fail I see something questionable and when I look at their profile they are on PC. I then go watch my match recordings and you can literally see them watching people through walls from across the map.
I recommend you Google search this, and then YouTube search this because the evidence is overwhelmingly not in your favor.
I would like to point out that theater mode isn’t a 1:1 representation of the match you were in and is merely and interpretation of it. It’s a bit desyncy, and generalizes movements rather than record them. So some of these “hackers” you’re witnessing in theater, might just be the game’s generalized interpretation of their movements.
Hacking does exist, so please don’t think I’m suggesting it doesn’t, but it exists at a low frequency. At the rate players assert that hackers are showing up, I would’ve expected to see at the very least one suspicious player, but I have yet to come across any of the sort.
I have a couple hundred hours of identifying and processing hackers and misunderstood skill in CSGO’s “Overwatch” program, so I’m comfortably familiar with what differentiates skill and subtle hacking.
I feel the gunplay is very similar to the gunplay in previous halos. The main difference is BR is not the right choice for close quarters. You should switch to AR up close. I am not use to that considering AR has been bad in all previous Halo’s. I think sidekick requires more skill than halo 5 pistol. Hammer is a cool option now because its more powerful but will fail against a skilled sword player. (In the past sword was always worse than hammer, grifball should be fun now) The commando is either very weak or requires a high skill gap because Its harder for me to get kills with it over the BR.
If it were me I would lower the ammo count in the AR by 5 shots and increase spread by a little bit and make it hit max spread just a hair faster. That would reduce the frustrations people have with AR while still making it a great close quarters weapon. Infinite is just as noob friendly as 3. The game with the highest skill gap is Halo 2.
I have also noticed that people have no idea how to position themselves on the map. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off
Crossplay ruined the game, I hate the F2P model because it the open gate for cheaters.
I want to play with console and controller player, not fkg cheaters with their KnM and mods.
You’re stating unrelated and untrue statements in an attempt to detract from the simple request to back up your claims.
Players are claiming hackers exist in every game mode from Ranked to Fiesta, to BTB to Quickplay. None of the factors you listed detract from the probability of encountering such an anomaly through regular gameplay at the rate that’s being asserted.
As someone who has identified hundreds of cheaters and vindicated hundreds of accused cheaters, I’m well aware of what a cheater looks like from a first person perspective and from the receiving end, across multiple titles.
I’m going to reiterate:
I never said this lmfao
I’m not denying hackers exist, I’m challenging the notion they exist in the capacity players claim they exist in.
No need for childish accusations. It’s ok to have your stances challenged without resorting to personal unsubstantiated attacks.
I’m just asking for proof of hackers you run into, not proof that hackers exist period.
