Unless you personally work at 343i to say for a fact that cross play is necessary because the player base is too low then you shouldn’t be posting your OPINION, because the fact is both pc and console respectively have fine enough pop counts to get matches with Just others on your system. Even still we are talking about an optional toggle to choose if you want to play cross play or not so there’s just no excuse as to why it’s not in the game because if the pop counts were as low as you seemingly think they are just toggle cross play back on end of story. Also look into “aim assist” for halo infinite you’ll discover that only one form exists and that’s for players on a pc and using a controller.
If they have it’s gone completely under the radar, once more 343i show their incompetence and inability to make a cohesive video game.
Perhaps you missed my point so I’ll say it again to clarify, HALO INFINITE NEEDS A TOGGLE FOR CROSS PLAY ACROSS THE ENTIRE GAME, BTB SLAYER ALL OF IT. I care not at all about how many others post their complaints about this topic I’m expressing my dissatisfaction with how halo infinite is being handled in general this is just one of a long long list of basic problems that any competent dev team wouldn’t run into. The spine of halo infinite is held together with Elmer’s glue and popsicle sticks.
This is nothing new 343i have been a sketchy team since it’s inception, that we as a fan base have been putting up with their failures for what’s it been 15 years now?? Give or take. It’s insulting that these people still don’t understand how to not (f) up, even when WE the community are sitting here telling them exactly what to do. You can lead a horse to water type deal but in this case the horse (343i) has brain damage and that’s why it won’t drink.
Crossplay was never needed to keep healthy populations, especially in GOOD games. In Infinites case however, crossplay hurts it more than helps.
bro crossplay killed the mnk community because aim assist against no aim assist isnt fair.
Population health isn’t just measured by “Can you find games yes or no”
Because there ARE people that struggle finding games even with crossplay currently, and that issue would be made significantly worse.
But more importantly things like skill matching, having good ping and matching time would all be negatively affected by splitting the populations like this.
Not really. Connecting more people, enabling people to play with friends without system restrictions, lowering match making times, and increasing sales on multiple platforms has always been the goal of every major gaming company. Crossplay will only continue to grow. As it should.
Infinite nneds crossplay, it has such a low population that it really needs it. Some people are already complaining that it takes too long to find games, many other complain about having to play on foreign servers most of the time. Crossplay is needed for both old and new games in general
then you need to have a crossplay input setting system more since the general crossplay system is only between platforms only.
i have not miss you point at all since its the same point on the other crossplay threads that have been make all so its becoming more pointless to make your own when there are a lot off others threads about it.
its the same with the people about the stupid discusion between KBM vs Controler when we have a lot off then also and not need new one’s really more about it any more.
and really we all ready know that force crossplay is wrong and we also know that 343 is not going to chance it to become it a option.
this is really a compleet joke you are telling now.
look at warzone how manny time’s it has not chance and update there anti cheat software and it has do notting at all with the cheaters and hackers levels there at all.
do you really think that any anti cheating software is going to work at all.
hackers are faster by updating there cheating software to by pass the anti cheating software from any game company at all.
a game developer needs what few month’s to update there anti cheat software for there game and the hacker needs few weeks to update there cheating software to bypass that anti cheat software.
each game that has crossplay in it has lose the fight against the hackers and cheaters on day one all without any fight starting there lose all before it starts.
The game cannot afford to have its player base split. Contrary to what you may want to believe, those playing on the Xbox App for PC and Steam make up nearly half the population. Combining this with all the new playlists everyone wants further divides players.
Crossplay is not an issue. If you feel that you have a disadvantage based on your input device, go play on that specific solo/duo ranked playlist.
If you want 240+ fps you’ll have to go big on a gaming PC. If that’s the real issue here, that could take us down a whole different argument. Are you using a stock controller versus a “pro” one with paddles and macros? Are you an a Series X or a One S? Should we split the player base because these differences create an unfair experience? No.
