OK it’s a Friday around midday and I don’t expect to find many layers on an already tiny player base. I have Benn sat her waiting for around 3/4 of an hour and finally found a match…just as the game is about to starts a forced console update the 4th I think in around 10 days, leaving me no option to updated /offline or off. I come back to the game to find I am banned for around 3 minutes. OK 3 minutes is not long but firstly it shouldn’t have happened and secondly what length ban did I come back to? The update took longer than 5 minutes and there was around 3 minutes left, considering this is my first attempt at matchmaking today something is clearly off here.
I would rather fight it out 2 or 3 verses 4 and have the ban system removed from social (only) than keep on have undeserved ban for disconnect or other out of my control system or game issues. If quit bans should still be required on an ever depleting player base then so be it but at least make sure the match has actually started before dishing out bans. Yes I was there at the beginning when everyone cried out for a ban system, but do we still really need it?
