For you, what is the most epic cinematic of Halo?

If you are here on this website it is because you like Halo, you are interested in its characters, its history, his lore and tradition or the industry that runs it, but if you are here it is because Halo is really part of your life for some. in measure, probably from your childhood or adolescence. Those who saw his birth in 2001 or new fans. My question to you is:
For you, what is the best cinematic of all Halo video games and movies? Graphics don’t matter here.

Probably the reveal of the Gravemind in Halo 2.

Probably gravemind in H2 or the arrival at the ark in halo 3.

I’m not gonna lie the cut scene I watched the most as a kid was the bridge fight with red team and Forge fighting the elites and the Arbiter in Halo Wars. It is pure awesomeness and holds a place in my heart.

Master Chief flat-out denying a direct order from Capt. Del Rio in Halo 4.

Halo 4’s legendary ending never ceases to be awesome no matter how many times I’ve seen it. The Didacts monologue is written to perfection and who doesn’t enjoy it when Chief walks past and towers over Spartan “I’d though you’d be taller” Palmer.

Yeah as a piece of cinematography and story that is hard to beat.

For spectacle and emotion it has to be the end of Long Night of Solace

Oof, if we’re talking spectacle and emotion the whole of Halo Reach is up there.
Jorge’s death hit me hard ngl, but Kat’s death takes it for me, especially when you turn on the subtitles and see the additional dialogue from the civilians panicking, really sets the tone on just how -Yoinked!- the UNSC was by this point.

Very good point. Reach as a movie hits hard! Great set pieces, the in-engine cutscenes are as good as you can get in-engine and a great supporting cast

Halo 4 leggendary Ending scene and the part when chief remove the helmet

The opening cinematic to The Ark in Halo 3 followed closely by the opening cinematic to Delta Halo in Halo 2. Both because of the soundtracks and the badass insertions.

The start of New Alexandria or Exodus are always particularly memorable to me. It echoes that there are more feelings under the helmet that they will carry until the end. Noble Six build a good rapport with Noble team and Jorge particularly, his death, I think, weighed heavily upon him and all of Noble team. New Alexandria in particular as Six watches the city burn, helpless to stop the glassing.

Cutscene - Halo Reach - Noble 6 jumps off spire - UNSC cruiser shot out of sky

The UNSC Grafton was a frigate, not a cruiser.

I have seen that scene in facebook videos and I find it interesting, I remember playing that game once in a MixUp, I had fun playing it. I’m not lying

Hey you picked a really good one

I’ve always loved the intro to ODST. Very cool, very cinematic, and it introduces all the characters nicely.

Giving the Covenant their bomb back.

For most badass, completely agree. This scene gives me chills.

For emotional resonance, I’d have to go with Johnson dying and Chief actually firing a ring.

Absolutely - I genuinely hoped Johnson would have survived the end and was gutted he didn’t make it out. Would loved to have seen him make an appearance in 343’s games.
