For you vanilla freaks out there.

I think after Team Slayer turns TU. Which it will, Squad Slayer should go back to Vanilla and they should add objective like BTB then call it Vanilla Squad. That way the people who want vanilla reach, not me, can play it.

NO. What is with you people? We’re not going to REVERT playlist back to a worse state?

The OP doesn’t make much sense. Squad is one of the more competitive playlists, so it should be the last choice to revert to the inferior vanilla settings. The only playslists that should be vanilla are Invasion and Action Sack.

I object to being called a freak. I consider myself more of a Reach conservative.

That makes you an extreme liberal with regard to Halo.

No.
Squad slayer its one of few playlists with T.U settings and no A.L.

Just one word for haters of T.U:

ADAPT.

I’ve played every Halo game. I like all of them. I just think Halo: Reach is the best in it’s original form. You obviously don’t see that and that’s fine. Agree to disagree.

Impossible

And Team Slayer is apparently Casual, so why should it revert to competitive settings.

You have a valid point. I guess I wouldn’t care if Team Slayer remained a cesspool of broken game mechanics, because my playlists of choice are already fixed.

trust me i want all around TU more than you. but i dont wanna hear ppl complaining no more vanilla

I’m a fan of the TU, and I’m also a fan of Vanilla Reach, so I could really go either way with them implementing the TU in Team Slayer.

However, I don’t think this is a great idea. Squad Slayer is among one of the more competitive playlists, yet it’s the competitive community that calls for the TU.

Did you just tell the players who embraced the change Reach brought to Halo to ADAPT to the broken, nostalgia-driven TU mechanics?

That’s… just… what?

Totally true. Embrace change man, don’t kick it in the nuts. Before the title update I was excited about how 343 might push the Reach sandbox even further in Halo 4. Now I’m pretty much bracing for a complete turn around. Very disappointing.

Funny how the FREAKS are normal people too you know, we all have different thoughts on what we think of how Halo: Reach should be played.

Yep, because I could adapt to the broken, gimmick-riddled mechanics that Vanilla brought. I prefer the new settings.

we adapted for a whole year

why can’t you adapt for a change.

You know, Halo has the only community that makes me feel like I want to jump ship, sell all my consoles and games, buy a high-end computer and join the ranks of Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 3, and World of Warcraft. Despite the fact that I’ll be putting up with the “PC is the master race” at least I don’t have to hear self-entitled BS…
