For those who have been lucky enough...

to play Halo 4, I have some questions.

  1. How does the BR feel, does it still feel like a BR being a 5sk and all?

  2. How does the BR compare to the DMR?

  3. Does the DMR feel overpowered towards the BR?

  4. Was it fun?

  5. What was your favorite gun, why?

Does it count if it was a dream?

> Does it count if it was a dream?

No, but i did have a dream that 343i released a Halo 4 beta! It was awesome!

Can someone please answer?

wut.
why is there another BR thread?
From what I’ve been told, it feels fantastic.

they say it all feels like halo …

how ever, i find it bad practice to listen to peoples opinions of the game based off of first impressions, first impressions only tell a very very very small part of the story not to mention that the build they played didn’t have everything in it.

so the game initially feels like halo and seems to play well on a stripped down build, big whoop, does it stay this way or do cracks start to form? this can only be answerd after a month of playing the game.

All I played at comi con was Spartan ops. The things I used were thrust, radar enhancer, BR primary, pistol secondary, and dmr. The dmr feels like it did in reach, bit better. The battle rifle does not feel the same (at least to me) but when I used it I still feel right at home.

From my gameplay, all I did was move around, shoot, basically get the feel, while killing some Covies at the same time. But here’s what I expect MULTIPLAYER wise judging from Spartan ops.

Halo 3 feel while taking the best aspects of reach. Armor abilities could easily make it into competetive play, they looked, and the thrust felt, like they all have individual uses for different scenarios.

For instance Sprint was used as a way to hop from place to place on places like zealot, p-house, asylum…in 4 Sprint is used as one thing…get places faster (though I’m sure epic Sprint jumping will happen)

Hardlight shield seems great for protecting a flag carrier, bomb carrier, etc… but if you get trollz and someone pops open a shield when they’re right next to a wall and they get to cover, hopefully the movement decreases enough so u can’t plant a nade in time.

Thrust is used to CQC…I can see a lot of epic scenarios of a 1v1 duel against 2 thrusters. And even then its used as a quick get away. The headshot hitbox, if not the same, only moves down a tiny bit.

I hope this helped I jotted down as much as I rememberd!
