Hey Ya’ll. Vampyre0422 here. OK!! So I have been seeing people complaining about the new look of the BR and how it looks too much like the AR. First off, I would Like to say how does the essentially wire-frame and SQUARE design and the scope look like a ROUNDED AR? Secondly, the BR is described as, in the books, basically an accurate burst fire AR with a smart-link scope on it (Linda was among the first to get a hold of this rifle receiving it from Dr Halsey in the fall of reach if I am not mistaken?). So it would MAKE SENSE that the BR has a SIMILAR over all design to the AR. So please stop complaining about it!

I personally like the look of the BR. But that’s just me.
Don’t many modern weapons look similar to each other? Do people complain that much in Call of Duty that the M4A1 and M16 look the same, but one’s auto and one’s burst?
Really? I haven’t heard anyone complain about the BR. I myself like it too.
I’ve never heard anybody say anything about the BR looking anything like the AR. I don’t really like the sound of the BR, it sound’s weaker than it did than in any other game.

You haven’t seen the whole 4 Shot BR VS 5 Shot BR debate have you? 
OT: Honestly i don’t see where people are getting this “BR looks like the AR” crap at. It’s to be expected that there is this overall human theme to the UNSC weapons but the BR has it’s own design to stand apart from the AR.
If anything the Storm Rifle can easily be mistaken as a Carbine IMO. I know i had a hard time telling the two guns apart at first anyways.

I don’t think it does, the only thing I find similar in the looks of the BR and AR is the fact that they both look epic! 
Well the two weapons ARE rifles, so I’d expect them to look somewhat similar.
I do love the new BR too.

The topic is about aesthetics, I was referring to how the Br looks, not how it plays.
I do and I agree with your statement about the history of the BR. But I dislike the design for my own personal reasons, I think it would look more precise with a longer barrel an a round scope like the DMR. I feel the square scope makes it look like a toy.
I actually really like the BR’s aesthetic design except for that random orange stripe. I don’t like the Reach AR as much for the same reason.
And now it looks like they are adding a bunch or Orange onto what appears to be ODSTs. Why 343? Enough with that god-awful orange.
I hope skins are a larger part of the game and not just to satisfy retailers so that I hopefully never have to look at the awful orange stripe. Seriously any color other than Orange/Yellow and I would have been on board. Sigh
