For those of you who don't like 343's Halo

Deal with it.

Do you really think Halo is going to be same game over a decade later? The changes made to the Halo formula were made to keep the franchise relevant. Adding abilities such as sprint, Spartan charge, ground-pound and Smart Link were all designed to spice up Halo’s already addicting gameplay. And for a mode such as Warzone where everything is supposed to complete chaos, these gameplay modifications only increased the amount of action.

Agree with me or not, it doesn’t matter. The fact is, 343 can do whatever they want to their own Halo games. Sprint isn’t going to removed from the new Halo formula, so there’s not much you can do about it. If you want to play a Halo game without sprint, then just wait for Halo 3A or play the older Halo games. It’s that simple.

I already know a bunch of butthurt Halo fans are going to bash me because they think I’m wrong. But the truth is, sprint is here to stay. If you have as problem with that, then don’t complain about it and stop playing 343’s Halo games.

EDIT:

For some reason people still think Halo isn’t relevant. Halo 5 has sold millions of copies and is one of the (if not, the) best selling Xbox One exclusive.

Preach it!

I’m indifferent (neutral) on 343, could care less whom makes the game, but it’s naive to think 343s games are relevant. There’s more info backing up a failing halo than there is showing that it’s doing good. That is the “truth”.

I’m a simple guy. The gameplay feels fine, still feels like Halo. Don’t ever have to wait to find a game. So, as long as those are both true I’m okay with how things are going.

Still relevant to some but based on how many people have left since halo 4 it isn’t as relevant as ur self righteous butt thinks

Yep, and we get to watch the games continue to tank because they keep trying to recreate Halo just to please ‘modern day gamers’ instead of sticking with what works.

INB4: 343 said H5 has the highest player retention since H3 even though they don’t provide any stats.

Reach first man, reach lost 3 million people compared to h3, h4 retained exactly what reach did but h5 has lost 7 million.

People can vocalize what they don’t like.

I’m aware of this, however it still retained more players then halo 4 and even halo 5 for awhile

It is true in certain point of view. One day of each month, the population will be high as Halo 3, people come and check what was added to the game, but they don’t play rest of that month. 343 is telling us highest daily population.

‘‘Deal with it’’

Yeah, that’s exactly what the 2.5 million Halo fans who left the series told Microsoft after the franchise started to decline.

Isn’t the game getting stale? I thought we’ve had sprint/AA’s for 3 games now, doesn’t mean it’s time to switch it up again, for Halo to evolve and stay relevant? Isn’t change good?

Highest since* So theyre saying “active” monthly player total is above reach and 4. They just need to define active and provide hard data.

Xbox doesn’t have many exclusives and that is why Halo is the biggest sales of their product. Halo, Gears of War, and Forza, what else is there as a series(don’t tell me standalone games like Quantum Break)?

I think gameplay-wise, 343 has done a fantastic job of keeping the game relevant, so I’m with you there.

What I don’t like, is the lazy storywriting, the false marketing, the lack of epic grandiose that defines halo.

Well, I’m 50-50 over multiplayer, but any story that is as seeped in unoriginal storytelling and missed opportunities as Halo 5’s campaign was needs some serious revision.

Fine OP, we’ll deal with it. However, you’ll have to deal with the fact you’re a legit Silver/Gold player. lawl

O RLY

Of course the game had to change. Personally I like the additions in Halo 5. As for Reach and Halo 4 I can’t say the same. That was the decline of the franchise.
