Please just say whether Exterminations will be in Halo 4 or not, and if so, just a small clip to show the medal and hear the announcer.

I presume it will still be in objective and other game types that don’t have insta-spawn.
Why would they bother announcing something as trivial as which medals will be included? It’s not that important, and if it’s that important to you, as in it’s a jumping off point for your purchase of Halo 4, then I seriously suggest you reconsider your thought process for determining what makes a good video game.

With instant spawns people think exterminations will be gone… They haven’t considered that the definition of an extermination may change or they will just be harder to get.

As long as you kill every player on the team with at least an Overkill, what does it matter if they’ve already spawned?

Its most likely going to be super hard to get in SLAYER game types
Objective game types might be a little easier…
I doubt exterminations will need much changing. Just kill the entire team once, within 4 seconds of each other.
Actually, at the moment it’s glitched in Reach if the options allow players to spawn on other players or areas, since all you need to do is kill those 4 players while they’re still waiting in spawn or waiting for the friend to win a fight so they can spawn in.

Not all playlists will have instant respawns. That is confirmed.

That’s what I’m thinking. Why would it matter if they had spawned or not? If you knock out the entire team it would make sense to get an extermination.

Because in 3 you had to Overkill at a minimum for the Exterm. In Reach, you just had to kill the entire enemy team before they respawn. Problem in Reach is you don’t need the Overkill, and it has to be on the whole enemy team that’s 4 players or more. I got an Overkill on 4 people in Reach before any Respawned after their 5th guy quit and no Exterm, so it’s botched there too.
The fact of whether or not it’s there won’t bias my opinion of the game to the point that I’m going to buy it or not. It’s just simple small things like that make the game enjoyable and make players feel that they accomplished something ingame. Nothing more than the simple fact that it’s badassery at it’s finest.
