For the love of God, why are speed lines still a GD problem?

Now there is no possible way to turn off speed lines. This game can go you know what. This is a joke. I mean is it really that hard to disable the speed lines when you pick disabled speed lines?

Off topic but, oh my god, this game is so laggy now

They are the gray lines that show up around your reticle when you sprint.
And basically all over the screen
