They definitely should boost them up to the highest difficulty. Or spawn them with pulse carbines and extra nades, they are absolutely vicious with those.
Would like to see them improve the AI in general, and not just for filling in spots left by abandoners, but for just about everything that uses an AI in this game. Marines, Banished in single player, AI in fire fight when/if we gt that and more.
They already do, but I think an overhaul would help if they started matching up people who abandon frequently with other people who drop matches frequently. Then make it that people who regularly stay in matches from start to finish will also get paired with like minded individuals. Remove the timer to reset it, make it that the only way you can get out of the queuer you get placed in is by changing your own ways. Want to stop getting rage quitters? Stop quitting out of matches yourself.
Honestly, my opinion is what does it matter? This is social playlists with bots who cares the games donāt matter, itās suppose to be easy. If you want competitive go play ranked, no bots and join in progress. Speaking of join in progress feature I actually donāt mind it as if Iām playing with buddies and get disconnected from the game randomly I can just hop right back into the match without waiting around for them to finish.
Just set them to Spartan level, they will ruin a lot players.
Honestly the best way to fix this is just donāt have bots in game types where the only objective is to kill. In games like king of the hill and ctf they arenāt that bad because they draw fire but In slayer they are so annoying because they are just free kills.
What determines whether somone JIPs or a bot is added?
If no one is in the queue they add a bot?
Yep, the game gives you full teams. If no real player is available on the spot, a bot will be added untill someone is available.
Why bother in the first place if you lose or win a social game? It makes absolutely no difference
It also doesnāt matter in a ranked game. Some number at the end go up or down as a result but why does that make it more important? It still wonāt effect anything in real life.
People like winning or at least competing to win and thatās pretty much the whole point of the game. Whether it makes a difference is entirely a personal thing no matter what mode you play.
Well, we donāt have to open the can if it matters in RL, thatās for sure. But ranked is screwed anyway since the game fails so bad at fundamental things. Putting you on 200 ms servers? check. Starting games 3v4 and still punish you with - CSR? check. Putting solo players almost exclusively against squads? check. Negative CSR for 2v4? check. No rejoin in case you disconnect? check. Putting low diamonds against onyx 1600? check.
The game is a jokeā¦
Where are you seeing this? Itās 5:30PM EST and Steam shows around 4,300 people playing, I would be surprised if it drops off that much during peak hours.
Not to mention the much larger Xbox player base and I believe PC Game Pass players donāt show up in Steam either.
The game has player retention issues but thereās no need to over sell it with deceptive or inaccurate stats.
Just ignore this garbage. Every single time someone mentions player count the numbers are pulled straight out of their behinds lol. They also almost exclusively just use steam numbers too, and not take into account that most people played through the xbox game pass service or consoles.
The game is not even top 20 on xbox. And at least in ranked, player numbers in EU are probably below 50 per tier. Im playing the same 30 people the whole evening.
The game is nowhere near a healthy player population.
Where did I say it has a healthy playerbase? I was just recommending to the person to ignore people who use player base numbers since theyāre just about always full of it.
So what does it change? the game ia dead, itās actually pretty simple.
Iām sure it is. ![]()
That is also Just steam charts though tons more play on xbox.
Iām well aware. Thereās no numbers for other players on Gamepass/Consoleā¦and the steam numbers alone were enough to question the other posters player numbers so it doesnāt matter.
It may not have a massive playbase, but in the US it takes less than a minute, on average, to get into a match. Some modes 15-30 seconds. ![]()
