Vehicles need a moderate speed increase and to be able to kill a player by simply nudging them too hard.
whipping the tail around in vehicles to kill people is a Halo past-time… why was it changed?
i shouldnt even have to mention how crap vehicle health is in this game…
at the moment you can ram someone full speed with warthog, and the warthog will “bounce off” them …
ghost + boost into a wall doesnt even kill them, their shield pops and they jack my ghost and take off.
banshee gets blown to bits before it even HITS a person.
mongoose is so slow and the hitbox so small that its almost impossible to hit a person
and when they finally get hit their shield rarely even pops.
the only successful vehicle for squishing people is the scorpion, and even then they just run away grenade spamming if you’re within 50 ft.
Yeah. I haven’t got much to add, I agree. IMO they should at least give the Warthog a serious buff, and reduce the damage that the DMR does to all vehicles. But whatever they do to the vehicles, it won’t change the fact that everyone has plasma pistols and grenades in their loadouts, so… yeah. Bye bye vehicles!
It’s seriously depressing when you start a BTB match and everybody just runs to their hidey holes with their DMRs and don’t even bother taking the vehicles. At first you’re like “What the heck is wrong with these people!? Come on dudes, let’s take these vehi-- oh who am I kidding, I know we’d just get blown up in 30 seconds or less…” and then you do the same as everyone else.
No, I was tired of vehicles dominating every map they are on in the previous games. That would be fine if only big team maps had vehicles, but many smaller-medium maps have them, and they’re already annoying as it is.
they’re vehicles, they are MEANT to dominate… its bad enough the mantis’ in ragnarok can spawn kill a whole 8 player team effortlessly…
but i think the mantis is fine as it is… the vehicles you are meant to use against it which are crap…

Yeah, but they’re on nearly every map in the game, which is RIDICULOUS. Even the “small/medium” ones! When I play, I don’t want to play with vehicles on the map. They need to make more maps or a playlist with absolutely no vehicles. They’re stupid and cheap. You have big team, that’s where vehicles are supposed to be. Not in slayer, that makes no sense.
big team is terrible… but slayer without vehicles would be dumb if the vehicles werent so hopeless anyway.
if u want a DM without vehicles play regicide
A big issue is being able to spawn with plasma pistol and plasma grenades. Nevermind the fact that regular weapons do higher than normal damage to vehicles.
I got the Verdant Visor ages ago…so did pretty much everyone I play with. Even our nooby little 0.64 K/D guy has it
