The radar says 18m. Unless I’m misunderstanding what #m stands for in regards to the tracker, and unless I’m misunderstanding what #m stands for at the shooting range, it is EIGHTEEN METERS. A “1” in front of an “8”. A meter is a little over 3 feet (3.2808399).
3.28x18=59.04 feet.
Funny enough, if those little markers at the range are in fact by meters, the radar can’t even detect people at 10 meters, meaning it doesn’t detect people until they’re less than 30 feet from you, it’s probably more accurate to say it’s range for picking up players is more like 5-9 meters. It’s been damn near useless since H5, only really doing it’s job in Warzone if you have the Sensor upgrade.

I’d have to agree that there’s either something functionally wrong with the tracker, or the distance is considerably lower than advertised. I’d say about 70% of the time I won’t get a ping until someone is just about within hammer/sword range. One could make the argument they’re all crouching or walking slowly, but I highly doubt it with the amount of sprinting people tend to do.
I’d tell them go do the tier 3 AR weapon drill and tell me how many bots they detect at 10 meters when those bots are running/ strafing. I tried it, they won’t. The bots don’t move any faster than the ones for the Bulldog, and those ones can be seen until they’re at 3-5 shot kill ranges.
The radar frustrates me to no end. I look at it out of habit, but it doesn’t tell me anything. I’ll look at it, see nothing, then have someone smack me in the back.
