I cannot wait for the Beta 343i, understand that I am now one of your strongest supporters to the end, and I wish NOTHING but for you to suceed with Anniversary, Halo 4 and all future projects you will endeavor…
But the DMR, NR and Magnum as they stand under default settings, OBLITERATE nearly every other weapon in the game effortlessly. Halo was all about ultra-fast sandbox gameplay until Bungie slowed the game to a crawl and turned the BR into a necessity for victory.
Don’t make the same mistake Remove bloom on ALL weapons (especially the currently CHUCK NORRIS Sniper) and buff all weapons (minus the Sniper for obv reasons) to balance out Anniversary playlists, and give Reach the true CE style of gameplay.
Halo needs to be fast paced and fun for all players, not just noobs and Pro players!
The idea is cool, but having played the No Bloom customs for a while, this wont fix everything.
However, if there was a way to change the mechanics of the gun, such as fire rate and perhaps effectiveness (varies for different guns), then no bloom would be a dream come true.
Just stop making these threads though… they are getting old, and 343i knows how the community has responded…
Never gonna happen, I felt the same way for the underpowered and underrated AR, But 343i doesnt care what normal players think, The MLG fatkids who want a videogame to become a sport, and pay thousands of dollars to have the game developed around them, those are the people 343i cares about, normal players opinions dont matter, just those who spend thousands of dollars on video games, because theyre not normal mentally, but unlike jocks, they are also bad at physical ability, so they have to abilities whatsoever, so they want their video game to become a sport, and in doing so, pay alot of money for the game, or to them, “sport” to be made in their favor so they can say they play the sport Halo, and that they are amazing at it, because they arnt academically gifter, nor physically gifted… My point is, 343i isnt going to remove bloom on all weapons unless we pay $50,000…

except that the AR is overpowered and underrated. And you just applied a stereotype to thousands of people many of which aren’t like this at all. Im not MLG or a fat kid and I like what 343 is doing with halo. so…shut up.
No other weapons (except automatic, which have ALWAYS had bloom) have bloom. the snipers bloom does not effect its shooting at all.

You are becoming so defensive over a group that DOESNT CONCERN YOU! The AR is not overpowered, If you go up agianst anyone, them using a DMR and you have an AR, you will always die unless you get a melee in. So… Shut up.

i dunno, i think a 0 bloom AR might be a bit much. then the AR would murder the magnum in CQB which isnt good considerign the magnum takes alot more skill than AR to use.
I would be interested in tryign the AR with 50% bloom tho
I agree, that’s what kills zero bloom slayer for me, if you’re not using a percision weapon then you’re going to get your -Yoink- handed to you. Good post, you should put this under BS Angel’s reticule bloom feedback thread.
Not just the AR, the Covenant weapons, which are currently HORRIBAD and make Elites get murked nearly every Invasion gametype It would be so easy for them to do, they already have the code in Reach, the TU was only 2 MB!
