Do you have to hold it down or just tap the button? I plan on using Recon Control Scheme so if I have to hold it down, it’s going to make running difficult. I’d much rather tap it and start off sprinting with no worries.
You just have to click the stick in and your spartan will start sprinting.

You’ll have to hold the stick in by default. There will be other controls schemes, so it might end up on a different button all together.
IMO, Halo 4’s controls seem too crowded. There is like, barely enough room to do all the things that need doing comfortably.
