for halo 4, we need new pick ups, i think anyways...

I mean I love overshield and invisibility, they are classics and aren’t over powered. They don’t seem gimmicky and add to the game play. I think it is time for some new pick ups.
I DON’T MEAN DEPLOY ABLE OBJECTS SUCH AS BUBBLESHIELD.
Maybe a speed boost. This could take care of the sprint or no sprint debate (sprint is NOT halo at ALL, not even as it is in reach). This would be 2x speed and everything else is normal.

I’m racking my brain trying to think of GOOD, SIMPLE new ones. I don’t think the game needs any ridiculous “perk” like things. I thought maybe higher damage, but that seems silly.

Explosive Pick up, For a few seconds all explosive damage is increased grenades/rockets/stickies etc. Anyone like?

Maybe, this IS similar to extra damage, it could be cool… maybe a lower gravity one.

I think it would be cool if they added in jetpacks, bubbleshield, armor lock, and hologram as pickups. They would of course eventually run out:

Jetpack: 100%, drains much slower, able to go higher, does not recharge.

Bubbleshield: able to carry 2 or 3 at once, deployed with the same button you use jetpack and all others with.

Armor lock: Lasts 2x longer, able to take damage, and cannot recharge.

Hologram: Deploys a Spartan that can be toggled to appear or disappear with the button, and doesn’t just run straight, but shoots at the other team.

All of these can be used concurrently with the traditional powerups: Overshield, Active Camouflage, and Custom Powerup. These would look the way they were in Halo: CE though with the AC as the clear pyramid, and the OS the red/green cube.
