for everyone who did the campaign on legendary

how the -Yoink- did you guys beat that annoying bulletsponge called warden eternal. im on the mission unconfirmed at the part where i have to fight him and i just cant do it it seems like his shots never miss unless im behind cover and even them he uses that stupid voidball attack or the game -Yoinks!- me over. i realize i have to fight him alot more later and thats gonna suck even more because this already seems impossible

The Breaking is worse.

Still doable. Just command the group to attack him and flank him. Over, and over, and over, and over.

He has that glowing black spot at his back that is supposed to be a weak point. Me? I just slowly but surely chipped away at his -Yoink- whenever I could. It is just an endurance test.

I just stayed towards the very back and equipped my allies with some heavy weapons!

Its not the best guide but should help for where your at.

Oh and another tip. if you can you can assassinate him when he goes into his little Damage animation where he gets stunned. when you see him do it for the 4th time you can assassinate him.

i know he has that but even shooting that with a incineration cannon fully charged i cant do it. it wouldnt be so bad if Prometheans didnt spawn like crazy

i swear to god if we have to fight the warden in halo 6 like this im only going to complete it on normal

Make sure your team is armed with any power weapon you can find. I honestly got to the point of sending the AI after him as a distraction and when his back was turned unloading on him while completely ignoring the ads. If you do it right you can melt the -Yoink- super quick.

Hahaha I honestly could not beat him the first time you fought him. I tried like 20 times then I don’t know what happened but I think he fell off the edge so I got to pass.

The Scatter Shot is very useful to fight the Warden. If you can get behind him, just keep unloading into his weak point. With a bit of luck you can keep him in a loop of “ahh you shot my weak point!” animations until he dies. The time where you fight two of him is actually one of the easiest. There is an upgraded SAW and a rocket launcher kicking around, and you can stay far away and pepper them from the edge of the combat area. The fight where you have to fight three is insane, but you can skip the whole fight by using the man canon and boost to get past them.

I tend to agree but not because they are a pain to beat in Halo 5 legendary but because 343i have flogged these type of bosses to death since Halo 4. Bring back some Brute bosses that run at you like charging bulls over these annoying pieces of crap.

Patience, strategy and patience

Wait until you have to fight THREE of them! Plus turrets.

I nearly flipped out.

Go up on the balcony and send your team mates to the other side. The way to kill the warden is by trapping him in the middle so his back is exposed regardless who he is attacking.

Unconfirmed is one of the easiest encounters. Run to the top of the map, and camp. Bring your squad with you. DO NOT tell them to attack until youve got the incinerator cannon so you can stun him if he chases one of them. Yiur squad will shoot at him regardless but will most likely die from 1 hit attacks really quick, Take out most of the crawlers with the scatter shot. The floating platforms should have an incinerator cannon. Or i saved one. I forgot. Hit all of your shots with it (charged up, it has an AOE affect, this allows you to get crits when he’s facing you if it is a direct hit) and then a few more with another gun should take him out. Post here or message my gamer tag if you want help with any of the other encounters, later on they can be very frustrating and depending on what weapons you bring in or checkpoints you get may make you have to restart the level if you don’t have a good save. (This happened to me twice)

This is a really bad strategy on legendary. He is to accurate and your teammate will go down quick…

Man cannons are also basically useless when the turrets pop up and they will make your squad die quick. Good luck fighting him without your squad, the man cannons are only useful for grabbing incinerator cannons.

Go look at some of the legendary speedrunners over on HalorunsDOTcom for easy strategies on all missions, not just the warden missions.

Uhh, I’m talking about the work around where you can skip the whole triple Warden fight in mission 14. You never have to fire a shot, you just jump up the platform behind them and trigger the cutscene.
