From the Waypoint Administrators we have been asked to open a ticket in the support section notifying of these problems.
Indicate that the problem is No Stats / Data and explain a little what happens to you and with which games it happens to you. You can do it by following these steps:
Halo Waypoint > Support > Halo Support (Imagen Faq) > Halo Waypoint web and mobile experiences > (At the bottom of the text) " click here to file a ticket "
I have done it by explaining in which games they happen to me, I have indicated the data that I should have (without going into details or lengthening). I invite you to do the same to avoid possible losses in the future.
It appears that you just need to re-launch the games and play a match? Campaign may do it, too.
" Older Halo games work a little differently from modern Halo in respect to stats and service records. If you’re here because Waypoint is telling you that you haven’t played a particular game, then your service records will be out of sync. This usually happens if you have changed your gamertag since you last played one of the older games (Halo3, ODST, Reach) and is relatively simple to fix. You’ll need to boot the games up again and play something. This can either be campaign, multiplayer, forge, etc, - playing the backwards compatible version of a game should also work.Halo 2 is the only game that cannot be fixed using this method as the servers are no longer active to sync with. Edit: Some players have been able to confirm that you do not need Xbox Live Gold in order to successfully sync stats "
Admittedly I had to pull that bit of guidance from a cached version of the previous Waypoint website. When I messaged support here, they gave me a URL to some post on Waypoint that when pressed, opened a 404 page. Because they wiped the forums.
I asked “hey, so, what exactly was the solution? this link you gave me doesn’t work.” and never got a reply. Super fun stuff.
That may be a fix for older games, but so far this has not helped to fix my Halo 5 Stats sadly.
According to Waypoint, I only played 4/15 Campaign missions and collected 15 out of 13 Skulls.
I’d suggest to wait till post Infinite release and then give them some time as I think they will have more time on hands to fix those issues than right now in the middle of Infinite development.
It’s unfortunate as is right now but Waypoint seems to become more and more of a “Forum/Community” Hub than a “Game/Stats” Hub like in older days.
I went test this theory but was unfortunately unable to get into a Halo 3 game. I was able to complete a Halo: Reach game however and upon refresh can confirm my stats did not update/reappear on Waypoint vNext.
I will try to play a Halo 3 classic game again later to be sure, but I’m just assuming if it didn’t work for Reach why would it work for Halo 3.
Hopefully 343i addresses this soon.
I was given this direction and filed a ticket only to be told they only handle in-game issues at this moment as well.
Ideally once Infinite launches and things have settled they are able to turn some resources back towards correcting Waypoint - but we’ll see. The “good news” is if you look up other players (even notable people like Ske7ch) you can see his stats are also incorrect - so it is a site-wide problem and not just limited to a few of us.
All my legacy stats are missing and my Halo 5 seems to be incomplete as it shows 12/15 campaign progress but I completed all achievements and beat the game on Legendary already
