Im seeing a lot of threads asking what unit counters xyz unit but remember that winning matches is usually determined by which player out-building damages another. Yes some units are a little more powerful than others but I see a lot of scrub players trying to win direct confrontations(which they have no chance of winning) rather than out manoeuvring opponents to cracks bases.
Eg. Opponent is controlling map - teleport units/ sneak banshee hornets vulture around edge of map and snipe a base.
Also - too many posts here about balance, try winning games with creativity and on the fly tactics

Well the answer to that changes every game. But Unfortunately these forums are POORLY MODERATED and there’s too many posts crying blood on unit balancing - so interesting questions like that get buried. Without being specific (every strong strategy there is becomes nerfed because people can’t figure out a way to counter/ adapt/ create a better strategy) you should always craft a strategy with building damage in mind based on map/ leader selections/ your opponents etc/ your team mates abilities

“Warthogs (sometimes accompanied by the Forge Hog), are the only units that one needs to build in this game. Their high mobility, cheap resource cost, low population, and ability to beat their counters makes them the best unit in the game. No other units should ever be built when playing as UNSC.”

Yoda, savior, and some people in yoda’s clan have been running a ball of whatever type army and it beat my hogs, I’m not the best case study on it but it was unusualy to see.

currently, this rush beats everything mid game and can stop most rushes. Don’t forget they also easily overwhelm AV for a short time
