It’s come to my attention that there has been a lot of posts from farmers coming out lately and defending farming. They attempt to grasp straws as to why farming is a valid method to win. They attack us not only in game but over the internet. The only reason they’ve come out of the shadows lately is that there beginning to get the short end of the stick as a majority of farmers are getting the “avoid me” notification over Xbox. And get this… they expect us to care LOL. They expect us to care only after everything has gone bad for them and they expect us to sympathize with them. Give me a break. They’ve torn the game apart, they’ve driven newcomers and old fans away from the game and they’ve made a ton of negative Warzone experiences, and yet they expect us to care about them? Do you guys not see how ironic this is, its pretty funny if you ask me. Here’s what I have to say to all you Warzone farmers and it might sound a bit familiar. You don’t like being reported, “then leave the game” no one is stopping you from leaving in fact we could even throw a going away party for all of you guys and at least end things on a good note. If you wish to stay then by all means stay, just don’t complain when your rep goes down.
I’ve never gotten farmed lol
You guys are really salty. You’re just mad because they beat you and you can’t stand a chance. I don’t even farm, but it’s just funny how angry you guys are getting when what they are doing is very well within the rules of the game. The objective never changes when it’s a triple cap.

I have to agree with you here. I often run in a full fireteam where we completely destroy the other team. We do core quickly but still have people report us and message us saying we are farmers. They just are sore losers.
I’ve never been reported to my knowledge for playing Warzone, I also don’t think those who posted about farming were as you put it “They attempt to grasp straws as to why farming is a valid method to win. They attack us not only in game but over the internet.” That’s sensationalism at its finest. I don’t think you can really justify the any of those comments I quoted. Farmers who win by keeping people in there core are using tactic, if they are skillful enough and co-ordinated enough to do it I respect it and try and learn and improve. That’s hardly being “attacked” and someone coming to the forum and expressing their opinion on the pro’s of farming is not an attack. Its a forum, its a place for discussion

Me neither. I don’t get all the hype about it.

I’m jealous, seriously I am. Dont worry though, if you’re an avid warzone player then your time will come

Eh I’m pretty avid and I’ve only had a successful farm once run on me. Had attempted farming fail maybe 2 other times.

Well completely overruning a team is different than farming…many people don’t understand that.

Actually the objective does change, a giant shining blue cylindrical object appears for all enemies to shoot, it even has a bright yellow waypoint over it so people don’t miss it. That becomes the objective as it is the quickest way to victory. You don’t continue scoring points in football when you know the game is already over you kneel down and take a victory. You guys just prolong the inevitable and make others experiences bad just to enlarge your ego or get some dumb armor in a game that is now tarnished with the reputation of farmers, therefore making it less special than what you guys make it out to be.

Um, its actually quite the opposite. People on waypoint attack farmers viciously while farmers or ex-farmers such as myself try to explain what it is, why we do it, ways around it, and what it fits in with the rules. But people get so mad they tune out everything then act like a full on social justice warrior trying to shame the person in a group without adding anything reasonable to the conversation other than “it makes me and the team farmed on mad so dont do it”.

Now thats wrong, I commend you guys for actually ending it quickly. You might find some people that truly don’t know what farming is and that sucks.People are starting to believe that whenever they lose, they’re being farmed thats how paranoid the community has gotten due to how bad farming is and its taking a toll on you guys also. (If what you say is even true)

“People on waypoint attack farmers viciously while farmers or ex-farmers” You guys do(or in your case did) the exact same so dont try to act all innocent.
“try to explain what it is, why we do it, ways around it, and what it fits in with the rules.” We already know why you guys do it how does that help the situation at all? There are no ways around farming with a team of randoms and farming isnt intended to fit with the rules yet you guys take advantage of it.

Th objective is still to reach 1000 points. That does not change.

If they were to remove that objective then the game would never end for farmers like yourself. Its pretty obvious what the objective is, as again once all bases are capped ALL attention is pointed towards the core. Its also pretty obvious the game was never intended to be played this way

ObeseHipp0, I don’t think that you fully understand what farming is. I went into your game history to see if you were truly getting farmed. There are only a few games where your team lost by more than 700 points. Plus you have a sample size of 21 warzone games and a TON of DNFs (whether you were quitting, lagging out, or whatever the reason may be).
Many new Halo 5 players are confused with a team dominating vs. farming. You have responded to every person in this thread with anger-fueled responses. Your credibility goes down the toilet when your stats do not back up your statements. Your Arena record indicates you are only a Gold 1. The majority of warzone players have a higher average than Gold 1. You should learn how to play better and actually have a game where you truly get farmed before coming on here and bashing everyone.

Rank has nothing to do with anything. Just saying. You can easily raise your rank.

First boId: I guess in game we attack you but thats the point of PvP but on waypoint people who support farming and make one small mistake get suspended pretty quick so I have yet to see any who attack you guys. Not saying it hasnt been done but seeing as how i have been on every single farming thread in the past four months I would say I’ve seen more than you.
Second bold: You just perfectly provided an example for why people like me even show up on farming threads. People think farming is only about Achilies or when the enemy team doesnt core even though your team could be putting up heavy defense which is what people like me try to explain. There are ways around farming but you wont find them in the back corner of home base I’ll tell you that. Let’s see, you can camo escape, warthog rush, snipe the farmers, abandon core room, feed them kills, or leave. I normally choose to snipe or kill them back as it makes things go faster but that’s just personal preference. Although farming wasn’t intended when the game was created but it fits into the rules.

This isn’t my actual account, I’m using a different account just in case some of you guys want to report me for calling you out. I know what arming is I’ve experienced it I’ve been put on teams with farmers, and I’ve played against farmers. Trust me I know what farming is, Im not one of those people that over exaggerate about farming.
