Don’t like our complaining? Then leave. Or don’t enter a complaint thread. Forums are there to discuss likes and dislikes for a game. Granted a few of the “negative” threads don’t do any help, there are however MANY logical and thought out complaints.

And how is 343 meant to know that the fans don’t like this new “design”?
In the words of bungie (a developer who has a large experience with this community) "we would rather have a forum full of complainers than a forum full of nobody.
And the fact you attempt to insult my grammer, is just another ignorant move from you isn’t it?
(as trying to use my spelling in a way to counter-argue my post, is plain pathetic)
P.S: if you don’t think you was attempting to counter my argument with a grammer insult, then why would you include the insult in your post arguing me?
> > > I never said that you DO suck… Jeeeze read the thread! I said SOME people suck who complain… Not everyone who does complain sucks… Come on guys read the thread! If you do so well then why are you complaining sir? There are reasons why 343 made the game this way! They play tested it for years… Not days… Not weeks… Not months… But years!!! It’s this way for a reason… And complaining isn’t gonna do anything… Just accept the unbalances… And adapt to change! Because halo 5 and 6 are probably gonna be like this… And guess what… They will also be fun…
> >
> > I complain because I shouldn’t be one shotting with a starting weapon and neither should anybody else. I don’t think you know about the game development and testing very well then. They were a small, select group of people testing it. They made mistakes, and I’m pretty sure the boltshot was not intended to be the way it is. I will not accept the unbalances. There is no logical reason to do that other than you think the way it is when it comes out is the way it should always be. I know how to adapt to change. Adapting does not include some of the ridiculousness that is in this game. I do enjoy the game, but its flaws need changed. I won’t just sit back and let them go like you. I strive for balance, not unbalance.
> >
> > Also, yes the game is broken. Things such as the boltshot break the game.

> Did the noob combo and super bouncing break halo 2? Did it get changed? No… Was it unbalanced? Yes and I’d you use it? Probably… What about locking on to vehicles with the rocket? Ground or air. Did that get fixed? No… Every game has a “big flaw” does that mean the game unable to be enjoyed? No… Get over it… The boltshot Is here to stay… And if they nerd the boltshot it will set a presence that the community, if complain enough can push a developer around… And once that happens then the game is surely doomed… Btw 343 ment for the boltshot to be a 1 shot…
Lol, do you know why they didn’t ever balance things or fix bugs? I can tell you. It’s not because they didn’t want to, or wouldn’t do it. It was because they COUDN’T. They literally could not do it. They didn’t have the xbox live update system that we have now. There was only ever one update in Halo 2 to my knowledge. You know how you got this update? You downloaded it from a disk. If they had the capability to update like they can today, you bet those superbounces would be gone. Heck yes that bxr, and bxb would be gone.
No, I can almost guarantee you that boltshot is not “here to stay”. It has its nerf coming. It’s not pushing the developer around, it’s telling them that there is a flaw and them fixing it. Get over yourself dude. Yes they meant for it to be one shot, but not to be used to easily. It is literally the easiest thing to use in the game. It has a longer range than the shotgun and scattershot.
> This game isn’t broken… Just because you can’t get kills… Or you can’t win, doesn’t mean the game is broken! It means that you are inept to change! Just stating the game is broken doesn’t fix the problem that you having. All it is, is a way for you to try to grab attention and thus cluttering up the forums with crap that nobody cares about. Try have a legit topic or don’t post at all… IMO this game is called halo “4” for a reason! Not “halo 2 remake” or “halo 3 remake” or even “halo reach remake” I think that this game does what every halo game does. It takes what we love about halo and evolves it into a better version of itself.
>
> Yes, halo 2 was amazing. Yes, halo 3 was awesome. I loved reach! But if you look back at the difference between each and everyone of those games, they took a core mechanic and flipped it on it’s head! Even halo 4 did too! And we all adjusted. We all got used to it. And we all loved it! If I wanted a game that didn’t Change at all, I would play the now boring and easily predictable call of duty games! Ever since cod4 you got the same core mechanics. No flavor change… Except for zombies… That’s it! The regular multiplayer hasn’t changed…
>
> If you don’t like the game then don’t play… Don’t post… And definitely don’t think that the core gaming community cares at all because I can speak for the majority of core halo fans that have played since halo 1… Yes there has been change… But without that necessary change we would have already played the game without even buying it!
My stats are better than yours and I hate 4.
Whoops,your whole post becomes irrelevant.
i read the first 5 pages of this and must say, a lot of people have shown that this game is flawed. i love this game, in my opinion it is the best halo since 2 which was my favorite. the story was enticing and went in a direction i could never see going. cortana, like bungie, has left this franchise for good. buuuuut i do hope for some fixes, especially in custom games. this game is not a finished product, but it is not a beta. it is being played and is great but will be tweaked slightly in all of the right ways. the original poster said that halo 5 and 6 will be just like this. well that counteracts all things halo. halo at its “core” is all about evolution. combat evolved guys. this is a new trilogy in new hands. it will be different. it will have aspects of other successful franchises incorporated in it. such as the loadouts and prestiging from CoD. or huge maps like battlefield. but lets get one thing straight. this IS halo. this is the franchise we all know and love. it has begun a new chapter with a developer that is trying to fill some pretty big shoes. some fans, some real hardcore fans, will be left behind. as sad as that is to say. but i am one of those fans and i am here to stay. every halo game changes, brings in new aspects to evolve combat. this game went in a direction that gave the individual new abilities to help in combat situations. i would of liked to see some more team based AA’s but i guess the regen field is a pretty good one. instead of complaining about halo’s doom or how perfect this game is why dont we all just strap in for the ride 343 is taking us on. im sure it will be good and if you dont want to join then just get out of halo now because 343 is not making this trilogy with bungi in mind. it is trying to move halo on from bungie. the games graphics are pushing your xbox to the limit. spartan ops has your weekly halo soap opera, which i love. forward unto dawn was a beautiful way to get the community psyched. lets just see where this goes guys, no reason to complain about it. 343 will fix most of the problems that are addressed in the forums, but not the ones that change the game.
Perhaps it’s more of a point of view. From a competitive view the game is broken.
When it first came out you had insta respawn on all Objective playlists. I’d have to say that CTF suffered the most from it seeing as a player on mid map just got teleported back to base to take care of those trying to take the flag.
Then there’s the map balance issue in Infinity Slayer regarding the random drops on both Personal and Global drops, they are more based on luck than on skill.
Also, no one with the right playing style camped power weapons, they remembered when the weapon was picked up and went back to the weapon spawn just in time to pick up the newly spawned weapon, camping power weapons was just an unskilled tactic that would get you killed.
I’ve been doing it with my nephew on the better vehicles now, and we win almost every match where we have half a decent team on our side. I don’t camp the spawns, I see when a vehicle blows up, look at what the game time is at and based on the situation I decide a time we need to be at the spawn to get it, sometimes we need to be there earlier than the actual spawn time to clear it out and get it ourselves.
With random drops, no one can do it, you don’t know what, where or when anything will drop.
I’ve made a thread about how to make it balanced both with Personal and GLobal drops to make Infinity Slayer a lot more competitive, while keeping the randomness that people like.
yes four is horribly broken. op load outs, loadouts, armor mods, random map drops, kill streaks(drops). no reason for map control and no reason to put forth a bit of effort to go all out.

I agree with you entirely bro. Every word. If people didn’t hate on halo it would be something else. It’s the human condition not the game. I agree with you entirely. The only legitimate complaints are specialization codes, custom games, and lag and server related issues. Everything else is just nostalgia, BS, or the inability to adjust to new loadouts system/spawn system/weapons/sandbox.
Is this supposed to be comical? Because, literally, every contention you make is fallacious and nonsensical.
You use a straw man argument at first when you “identify” the reasons people complain, and then you assert something that is simply not true (in that, apparently we all liked the changes made in between each game and that change itself, as opposed to positive change, is a characteristic that defines Halo) and finally contend that, since we don’t enjoy the changes made, those with complaints shouldn’t make such known, which even covers those with the intent on improving the game since you made a general statement, without actually providing evidence or reasoning to back it up.
I’m having a hard time believing that you were serious when you typed this illogical atrocity because of all the error embedded within it.
