you guys hate bloom so much? really? in any sense it make it more fair with an added use of skill to back up of course if you actually have any skill bloom hater. armour abilities only have slight flaws like armour lock magically turning you around and rubbish like that, they are great additions and pray there are more too come with imporvements
such small complaints really need to chill, so i made that to get notice of anyone that is for halo reach like me. i have yet to see a legit argument about how halo reach is so bad.
Bloom complaints really only applies to the DMR, as there’s a chance a paced shot can be outdone by someone spamming. The bloom does need tweaking, but the TU did so at the benefit of the DMR and not the overall sandbox.
AL has the same problem as all AAs. If the entire team uses it they can overpower the other team. AL was the biggest problem and needed a nerf. Personally I would have made the AL used to reduce damage, not all of it. So it would had to be used intelligently and not just as you’re about to lose a fight and want a chance to succeed.

i mean they brought the health back. you died like you were made of paper in halo 3 coz theres no indication of your health after the pathetic shield was up.
most weapons were 3 shot kill from all ranges anywhere on the body, you were so easy to hit and you stuck out more. equipment was okay but only worked well while there on the spawn.
there shouldnt be any DMR matches i’ve always found them to be unfair. having normal slayer made DMR an advantage over power weapon horders.

100 percent bloom encourages spamming and spammers can win when a player decides to pace. It becomes a dice roll situation; sure you may be really skilled but there are enough things in Pre TU that allows the losing player to win despite the fact that they should lose for getting outplayed. This is why 100 Bloom it’s hated on; because it’s inconsistent. So i laugh to myself all the way to the store when someone complains that they are getting out spammed in 85. No, you’re getting out paced and outplayed. It’s simple as that because when i spam in 85, i lose my battles but in 100? I usually win unless it’s an extreme ranges.
As in 85 bloom, pacing is actually encouraged and if you spam, you honestly don’t gain that much of an advantage (unless at close range) and spamming at long range is about the same as it is in 100 percent bloom. The only nitpick that you could have is that you can crouch to obtain Zero Bloom, which is a viable concern on some of the bigger maps and it’s something i think it should be re-tweaked. However because it’s more consistent and rewards pacing more, it’s more or less what we should have received. At Launch.
Armor Lock deserved it’s nerf. It’s a crutch for bad players. It allows you to play stupidly and get away with it by having your team mates help bail you out and when you get out DMR’d. It also slows down gameplay as that 5-6 seconds is a long time in Halo and it doesn’t leave the players much options other then to “wait it out” in which case they will not only be robbed of the kill, but will mostly be driven off or killed when your team mates arrive (thus increasing kill times). If you honestly think that pressing a button that grants invincibility and sheds off all damage while your team mates make up for your bad decision making takes skill, then you need to re learn the definition of “skill”.
The TU nerf for Armor Lock makes more fair by allowing players to block incoming attacks, not become this god tier damage sponge that increases kill times. You can be forced out of it as well and no more shedding stickies. With this in mind, smart usage of Armor Lock is now rewarded (instead of just using it when you get outplayed) and it can still destroy vehicles (which i always loved about this OP AA and was the only thing i loved before the nerf).
Armor Abilities in general are bad for Halo as their implementation was very poor and made the sandbox much more unbalanced. Once upon a time, you had to fight for the advantages such as Camo or Over-shield but in Reach, you spawn with these advantages. Halo 3 was less controversial though the equipment did have it’s flaws, at least they were something to fight over and not everyone on the same team had a drainer or Bubble Shield. This is because bad players complained to Bungie that they did not get the cool stuff and so they (after taking cues from Shadowrun) made the AAs.
You jump lower and move slower then in any Halo game because of these new ideas and it only seeks to add randomness and BS that only casuals would think it’s cool (and ironically enough, Reach pushes away some casuals too because it’s simply not Halo to them).
How’s that for a rational response? Trust me, these “small complaints” were anything but small or else 343 would believe these complaints to be isolated and would not change this game if things were all sugar and rainbows. If you contend to reality, you will see that this will not hold true as we have several TU changes already. For good or ill, that is the situation this fanbase is currently in.

I agree I missed health after Halo: CE. It added another layer of tactics and strategy to the game. If you lost a fight you would have to think about how much damage you did to the other player and whether or not you should attempt to cut them off as they rush for a health pack (the location of where you fought and where the closest health pack to them also needed to be taken into consideration).
But the problem comes with headshot weapons. Since so many people use them it makes health pointless. Unless they’re willing to look into another way headshots can be implemented the only solution that makes health important is to turn off headshots, which can also balance the overall sandbox of the game.
But it’s hard to make that suggestion because so many people want that advantage and don’t want to take health into consideration during combat. Which is fine, they can have DMR only gametypes if they want and even turn on health regeneration to 100%.
Bloom is both pointless and worthless. There is absolutely nothing to be gained by enforcing a cadence. The skill gap shrinks, battles become more prolonged, and gameplay slows. It’s a gimmicky idea at its very core. Bungie should be ashamed of themselves for putting into the game, 343 should be ashamed that they haven’t yet given it the lethal injection it deserves.
AAs are similarly pointless. Halo functioned just fine without any of this crap. They add nothing to the sandbox, and several (jetpack, camo, drop shield, AL) just hijack the game. The solution isn’t nerfing them, the solution is getting rid of them and forgetting they ever existed.

br was a 4\5 shot for one and you cant cross map with it.
he halo 3 shield was better due to fact it recharged faster,
