For all the problems, Infinite did one thing perfectly... the Soundtrack

I just listened to this soundtrack on my run. It’s incredible. They built on Marty’s work in all the right ways.

I would go so far as to say this the best Halo soundtrack to date. This is the quality bar they should be holding everything else in their game to (and sadly, I don’t think anything else is close to it in quality).

Don’t know why they didn’t credit Marty though… seems like an unnecessary snub when they’re clearly building on his original work.

I have 100% put Infinite’s soundtrack on when playing hot wheels and legos and what not with my kid :grin:. It’s just so great to listen to! Tbf I’ve done that with the original trilogies sound tracks every now and then too :laughing:

It’s definitely a good soundtrack, but I have my issues with it. It feels a bit too safe. It gives fans exactly what they asked: a decent, new, but familiar, take on the classic Halo sound with some recognizable classic tracks thrown in. But that’s kind of all it does. It’s very listenable, but doesn’t do anything really interesting. Like, I could definitely listen to it, but I don’t seem myself going out of my way to listen to it.
