I think it will allow them to be competitive with controller players.
It certainly doesn’t feel as strong as with a controller but it is definitely noticeable. While this does bridge the gap between the two inputs, I don’t know if it was the right way to go about the issue. Precise aiming is one of the draws of kbm. I’d figure a healthier way to deal with it would be to slow down the strafes and perhaps revamping things on the controller side to be more like MCC. Controller is still strong there but it felt a lot more competitive.
This gives Mouse a clear advantage at all levels for anyone willing to get used to it. Completely overpowered.
Personally I’m uninstalling until it’s gone. I have zero interest in learning to use aim assist on Mouse. It’s not particularly fun and it will make me terrible at other games if I did.
Finally we can laugh at each other how everybody needs to git gud because aim assist is omnipresent.

This was intentional. It was not an accident. I’ve been telling people this would be released for a while now. And yes, it was tested.

I’m not sure how this is going to play out but I guess we’ll see. I have a hunch this may get patched or nerfed at some point.
What I would still like to see is a input based toggle so if you’re a controller player or a m&k player, you have the choice to play with people on the same input as you. I think that alone would help the people who constantly complain about the other inputs being better than theirs as they can just switch the toggle if it bothers them that much.
The massive drop off of M&KB players and a large portion of the community complaining.
My sources had told me that bullet magnetism would be increased on M&KB. So the aim assist is probably caused by a bug.
