For all the H:Reach Haters!

This forum is dedicated to consulting legitimate problems people had with Reach so we may persuade them to come back.

One of my earlier posts about armor lock:

> I love the fact that people complained about the armor lock being overpowered. Its not. It takes a stupid fool to lose to one. Why do I say this?
>
> - Armor lock was limited: it only lasted barely long enough to recover half your shields before you could take damage. (not to mention in a 1v1 you got yours back too) - Armor lock broke vehicles: not a game breaker, just dont be a moron and try ramming with a ghost (which, by the way, has guns too) - Armor lock EMP: well, dont stand next to it? If you are 5 feet away your fine. - How to defeat armor lock: huck a frag at their feet, force eject from it. Or, stand about 5 feet from their back, and when it runs out, melee then shoot. No, I did not use this ability, its weak (evade was far more practical). My point, why does everyone hate Reach because of an insignificant armor ability? Seriously people, I would take armor ability trouble over the idiotic ground pound any day. Not to mention Reach had tons of customization, super cool new guns (needle rifle, grenade launcher) and of course the falcon (probably the best all around vehicle in the UNSC aircraft armory). As opposed to: bulbous helmets, the awe inspiring phaeton (sarcasm), RNG!!!, and these poorly constructed maps. One more thing: The DMR is back from Reach and 4, nobody seems to care though. Maybe the actual content wasnt the problem?

I’ve talked about reach’s issues and peoples perception of the game before, people don’t listen. Reach has a lot more good points than bad if you ask me.

nothing wrong with reach i enjoyed it a lot and will again

Reach is awesome and that’s why I still play it.

Armour lock just delays an opponents death for 5 seconds and that about the only annoying thing about it. If every player used the tactics you have stated above I think armour lock use would all but disappear from the game.
