We can complain all we want, we can throw hissyfits and shout demands, but Halo is a dying breed of awsome that is desperately reaching out for life, we as a community need to reach out, throw a raft or die with it. Constructive criticism will go a long way with the development and evolution of Halo, weather or not we like it halo is breaking out of its mold and evolving into something that could potentially be beautiful. Halo has always given us options, instead of kicking and screaming for features to be stripped from existance, we need to push as a community for more customization. 343i is heading in a new direction (I like what I see) however, I see a decent chunk of people that seem to just want core halo and nothing else. So naturally we need to reach a compromise, I’m absolutely sure that a rework of custom games options would benefit EVERYONE from dead horse riders to mighty unicorn mountees (dead horse being slow movement, guns, grenades) A staple of the halo community has always been forgers and custom games players, and one thing about them has always been that they want more control over how we play halo. With all this said, I hope that 343i will give something juicy and delicious to accommodate those who embrace the direction they are taking, those that can’t handle it, and everyone inbetween. Because although it can’t be easy to do, I’m sure everyone at 343i and the halo community at large wants to see Halo thrive and become the big kid on the block again, just like the good old days.
