I may be nitpicking here, but is anyone else not a fan of the sound of the footsteps in this game? Im talking about the sound that you hear when you are walking on a basic hard material. It’s just one of those sounds thats not easy on the ears at all for me and is much more amplified than the sounds in previous Halos. Dont believe me? Go see for yourself! Am I the only one who’s not a fan?
Try to not making sound while in a light run in heavy armor. They may be spartans but when boots hit the ground I better hear some noise…

I agree. Its particularly noticeable when you fall like 20 feet, hit the ground hard and barely hear a light “thump”

Im not talking about the sound of the armor clanking I’m talking about the boots scuffing against the floor sound.
It annoys me, because its hard to tell who is walking/running so close when your sensor doesn’t show them. Having to spin around to locate my fellow team mates markers to realize…CRAP “Spartan charged”
I actually like it. Thudding around. It makes me wish it was louder in the older games. Makes Chief sound like he was wearing ballerina shoes in Halo 3 with his delicate little petite steps. lol. I’m kidding … but I do like it. Has weight to it.
I don’t mind. Makes me feel like Im actually you know, IN ARMOR.
Nothing more satisfying than the thadump thadump thadump SMASH of a sprint into shoulder charge.
Man, people really love finding stupid things to complain about. The footstep sound is perfectly fine, it has some weight to it…which it should considering we are playing as heavily armored spartans after all.
If you are complaining about hear footsteps, sounds like you sitting back too much
