Footsteps and Aiming

I’ve had a great time playing Halo Infinite and feel you’ve really nailed it with merging legacy and modern Halo gameplay. Couple of things to mention that I noticed:

Many times I’m getting smacked in the back when either fighting another individual or just aiming down sights. Yes I know, I should be checking the radar but this is not viable all of the time. I rely a lot on the sound of footsteps in many games to help make strategical decisions but in Halo Infinite the footsteps are like they are moving in fluffy slippers.

Aiming has been a common complaint and I understand their sentiments. Coming from playing Apex for the last few years (yes I know, not Halo) I feel they have really dialed in controller aiming. I prefer a more linear feel, and the default settings in Infinite were like aiming in mud. I changed my dead zones to zero, aim acceleration to zero and upped the sensitivity to 6.5 which felt alright and I’ve been happy to play with these settings. However, for a game that has been in development for many years and a common complaint from the Halo 5 community was the aiming I thought this would have been a non issue for Infinite.

I can’t tell you how many great moments I’ve had playing infinite and I want to thank you for what I believe could be one of the best yet!

Yeah… its hard to distinquish footsteps. need to be louder overall.

have a very low footstep for teamates… loud footsteps for enemys.

Yes I agree that would be a good thing.
