Folders for Custom Games?

This has probably been said before, but oh well.

What if there was some type of folder system in Halo 4? You know something to keep all of your maps organized? I hate it when I want to select a map (Duck Hunt for example) but I can’t find it because it’s all mixed with Competitive maps, Infection maps and more. It gets kind of frustrating, and this is why I want this ides to be implemented.

Here’s how it should work- You click on the map you want, like forge world. When you click it, instead of showing all the maps you have, it’ll show different folders (sections) on where you can pick. You could have a folder for Mini-Games, and one for Competitive. Here’s how it should work when you click on the map you want-

Competitive
Mini-Games
Race Maps
etc.

If you make a new folder you can name it anything you want. Once you create it you select all the maps you want to go into that folder. If you haven’t created a folder, it would just revert back to the default way.

I think it would be great and make things more neat
Thoughts?

That would be nice. Folders should exist for films and film clips as well.

Good idea, didn’t think of that

That would be an awesome idea, it would be so easy when I want to play competitive or casual customs.

That would be really cool actually.

YES!!!
i have about 200 FW maps and organizing them in halo 4 would be amazing!

That would be nice, could we make and name our own folders?

Yes as stated in the OP

Exactly!

This would be great. I have another idea - you could select to sort your maps in compatible order or manual order (folders). Compatibility order would mean I’d go into my maps and lets say, I go to forge world, it lists all the game types and if the map is an infection map, it automatically goes in there.

Yes, I have way too many Forge World maps and I have to organize them with prefixes…

It would be nice if you could tag a map with a certain gametype that way when you choose the map the gametype comes up with it.

I actually really like this idea and it wouldn’t take much work on 343’s part at all.

Yeah I think it can make it to Halo 4

Great idea!

I agree, I’ve had this idea too, I have over 200 maps on my filebrowser and it can be a real pain sometimes.

Nice idea, they should also have the gametypes that are associated with the maps in the same folder so they’re linked, or any other gametypes compatible with the maps. If not in the same folder then maybe have a link to another folder containing the compatible gametype. I hate having to select a map and not being able to find the gametype for that specific map.
