"Focused Search"

Last 6 games of warzone straight spawned me into a game in progress where a group of randoms was getting face stomped by a full fire team. I set my search to focused to avoid this, but it doesn’t work.

One of two things needs to happen in my opinion, open to other good solutions:

  1. Make an option for those with no fire team to choose to wait longer to match against those also not in a fire team. I am not playing halo to be someone’s YouTube clip. I simply don’t have the luxury of having a posse of 12 friends available at all times while I put on a head set, ignore my family, and scream call outs to my team mates :slight_smile: That is great, but those of us who can’t do it that way need some relief to play other casual couch jockeys rather than all the super hard core players.

  2. Since I know I will be called a wuss, noob, and other names for suggesting number 1 (I am sure the teams will be mad if their easy face rolls get taken away) how about at least making it to where “focused” settings won’t allow you to be placed in a game in progress. I feel this is a courtesy to people like myself who don’t quit no matter how badly we get owned.

Speaking of…can we not just ban people who quit on a frequent basis? If their weekly numbers show a certain pattern of quitting, ban them for a week.

Just my thoughts. I have no problem with the full fire teams in Warzone I am sure it is crazy fun to do…just saying that us folks who have to run solo would like a little love sometimes too :slight_smile:

Halo LFG. You an find a full 12 man sqaud in like, 15 minutes. I understand your desire to join into a new game but if there was an option literally nobody would jip. However there should be no penalty for quitting a game if you jip.

Having an option not to JIP would mean no one would, so teammates are left a man down for the rest of the match.

Switch out of focused. Your jip games will go down.

So that is why you ban those who quit. Problem solves itself really fast :slight_smile: If people can’t handle losing a match and want to quit, we don’t need them in game to begin with. Just my thought.
