Focused search preference says it searches for the best match based on skill and connection. It seems to only base it off of connection. Since I started playing on focused I have noticed better connection throughout, but there is no way skill plays a part in it (at least in social super fiesta). I very often get thrown in matches with people that are either a way lower rank (i’m 146 right now), and i’m talking about level 9s that haven’t even used all the weapons most likely, or they don’t even take half the kills I do. More often than not, to win super fiestas i have to take half the kills in the game which means i have to have a really good game.
I would love for there to be a better system to finding similarly skilled players, not just better connection.
I might have an explanation for you:
The longer you wait for a match the wider the skill gap. I believe it expands the gap faster for social play lists.
