"Focused" preference is finding laggier matches?

I always search with the Focused preference on during matchmaking (specifically Warzone). The problem is that I’m having way more connection issues now than ever before.

I’ve also never had this problem until they introduced the matchmaking update where you could select that option. Is anyone else having similar issues ever since that update and while using the Focused preference?

Yup, and somehow “balanced” is putting me in teams of 20-90 levels while the enemies are 100+… sigh

The matchmaking system is totally screwy. Changing from balanced searches basically triples my chances of being put into a game in progress. In fact, I’ve pretty much just stopped playing because 3 out of 5 matches are join in progress, and 2 of those 3 I am put on the losing team. Not coming back until this issue is fixed. If there is one thing I can’t stand about what 343 has done to Halo, it is being forced to join in progress.

And one of the most enraging things about JIP in Warzone is that your booster is completely nullified. I’ve wasted a Legendary RP booster and an Ultra Rare one too and that’s like 1.5 Gold packs…

And worst of all, quitting yields the chance of being banned, when you don’t really even have a choice in the matter of being put in a game in progress. So frustrating.
