No matter what I’m playing, Warzone or Arena, social or ranked, expanded, balanced or focused, I will always play against the most brain dead teammates who don’t even look like they know what game they’re playing.
Last I saw focused was supposed to put you in matches with good connection and players your skill level, then why am I constantly getting matched with quitters and extremely low level players, most of them getting < 5 kills and > 15 deaths
So please, and I’m sure I can speak for most of the community here, please make us search for players our skill level or social not even go towards our stats (preferably both)

AH yes, damn exams are keeping me on lockdown until next thursday, hopefully it stays by then, then again, I’ve heard nothing but negativity on the playlist.
Focused Slayer works for me all the time. Generally if it’s before 4 o’clock I have to do balanced and expanded though. In regards to what type of teammates focused gives you, I agree. Most are complete trash or end up quitting.

I think you might have that turned around. Sometimes that’s all I can find are Focused games in FF.
I think the MM is a little off due to population being so low. It is frustrating being matched up with fairly new players even when searching on focused.

I always find a warzone match, no matter the search preference. So I don’t know what problem you guys have. Lol

I am from Australia and to my knowledge there are only 2 main servers in Australia. We cannot find games with other Australians so we are stuck with the expanded search preference and are finding games with a/an American/Mexican/British connection you name it. This is why balanced doesn’t work and focused definitely does not work.

I dont think they even do anything, they just put them there to make you think it does. I was on balanced and matched a team with a smurf plat then i switched to focused and matched the same team/
Same issue here: I’m an outside-US-player and the search preference mode I select seems to have no effect whatsoever.
Just played six matches of Slayer Doubles on Focused today. Although matchmaking took a while, I (Silver 5 in the beginning) have been “matched” with at least Onyx-ranked players every single time except once. For two considerably fun matches I even had two different pairs of Champion opponents, yay.
Seriously, how can this happen? I’ve been downgraded to Silver 3 by now. This kind of “matchmaking” can’t be fun for either side of the game. Most of the games I’ve been accompanied by teammates of ranks Silver to Platinum.
I’d rather be waiting for some minutes than be playing in matches I really don’t belong. It can’t even be considered training for me if almost all I do is catch sniper headshots seconds after respawning.
