Heres a vid I uploaded showing the focus rifle in the new vidoc. Its probably not real but its worth the look.
That was from a concept built from 2010. It’s out of date, and its certainly not confirmation that the Focus Rifle is in the game. Most likely just a placeholder just like Sarge with the old shotgun in the RvB special.
No, the only purpose of that picture was to show you the progression of weapons through the past couple years of making the game. If you notice, the arm is the same arm from halo reach, along with the radar and the focus rifle texture. The focus rifle is not in halo 4, although… the beam rifle is!!!
That was an early concept build from 2010. 343i were experimenting with early Forerunner weapon designs. I think this “Focus Rifle” eventually became the Scattershot.
