There are two topics id wish to descuss with the community concerning flying vehicles.

Do you think it’d be cool if flying vehicles had a sort of death animation? for example, i take too many shots while in a falcon but instead of just blowing up i lose control and do a few air doughnuts before i crash to the ground (unless someone destroys me in midair)?

Do you think we should have an ejection option when our flying vehicle takes too much damage? The way id see it working is once the vehicle is on fire, you rapidly press b too eject out of the vehicle.
You can jump out of a vehicle.
Plus, I think there is fall damage.

you usually dont have time whenever your in a firefight, and yes there is fall damage but i think it’s slightly tweaked from reach’s

The game is gold so they can’t add the animation. Also, spartans are probably too heavy for parachutes and the fall would kill them with fall damage settings.
No, there is no fall damage from what I’ve seen.

I like this one, It would be cool If it did a few doughnuts if the health was really low
They should make it so when the health gets low for the vehicle it starts to stall
or Get harder to control, then start’s doing doughnuts.
But if the shield goes down do to heavy damage, It should blow up on the spot.

That’s the skill though, the skill is knowing when to get out of the vehicle.

i never said anything about parachutes, i just thought they’d go down master chief style (no parachutes, no problem)

They can’t because there is fall damage.

We dont have a good idea on how much fall damage we recieve in the final product.
