Flying Tissue Paper

Now, before the post begins I have to say that I am no pro at this game and still have much to learn. That being said please keep the salt level to a minimum. Now for the rest of the post.

Sentinels, what happened? Though I don’t use Anders often I find her sentinels underwhelming. Her leader powers are great and I like the concept of her hero in general. So why did they feel the need to nerf the sentinels into the ground? I get it when the game first came out they were OP and were very hard to stop so they nerfed them. Though they nerfed them heavily I figured like they would make them viable again eventually. But that day still has yet to come. They have the health equivalent of tissue paper(hint the naming the post,“Flying Tissue Paper”) and they do like no damage. You might as well just train hornets. Sentinels lose to literally everything. Banshees? Good luck with plasma torpedo. Hornets? A bit easier but they still lose. Wolverines and reavers rinse them(then again thats what they’re meant to do so I don’t mind that) So why even train sentinels? The only reason I ever use them is if I’m messing around because they are fun to use but not practical. Her retriever sentinel is nice and her leader powers in general is just amazing. So why not buff the very thing that you choose her for? I’m not asking for a full on buff, maybe a little damage/health boost, but just make them viable again.
These are just my thoughts on it but I wonder what does everyone else think, am I only in thinking her sentinels need a rework?

Sentinels are more of an early game unit, so they can’t be expected to be too powerful, and you build them from the main base, which allows you to spam them without building any extra structures. You don’t want a unit out of the center base dominating the map, do you? Also, have you tried upgrading it? In the end, the sentinels can have shields and two sentinel companions. Those are suggestions, by the way, but it’s been a while since I actually used them. Just get the sentinel swarm, it’s way better.
